I think this is probably it, but either way it's some pretty cool continuity

Do you think we get to see Mel sacrifice herself in this episode or the next?

The Dunk and Egg stories are very good. The Great Bastards, the Blackfyre Rebellions, the mystery of Summerhall . . .

Can't wait for that reveal. I believe it in my bones to be true. No other satisfactory explanation for Jaqen to have been in the red keep's dungeons

That's how bad the show has failed already this season. I'm not giving up (because that's not who or what I am), but I understand folks who do/have done so. Based on Dorne alone, it is justified.

What a ridiculous statement, based on one episode.

Why don't you wipe your vagina and let it play out. Perhaps we get a strong character that actually leads a Dornish invasion of King's Landing.

Dorne is one of the few hopes the humans have to stand up to the Others.

Why? They're all the way in the south.
They don't exactly have tons of crops to feed an army and refugees.
They don't even know the army of the dead exists.
They have never, historically, supported the Night's Watch.
Their leaders don't care about governing, only revenge.

However, most importantly though their army is unbloodied, it is still the smallest in the seven kingdoms. It is doubtful that at this point, despite the heavy losses in the War of the Five Kings, that the Dornish could field a larger force than the Lannisters and Freys. There is still another unbloodied force larger than them, with a larger store of food than them, and that's the Vail. The Tyrell army is far larger despite having fought against Stannis. Hell, even the Iron Islanders may have more troops at this point with their elite navy.

The Dornish have 25-35,000 in the books or around that. The Freys might have 4k, and the Lannisters took a major beating from the Northmen.

No, they have 10,000. That 25-35,000 is what the Vail has.

I'm not gonna lie, that scene pulled at the heart strings when all of those things came flooding back to reinforce the significance.

And I love how they played that scene with Sansa hardly remembering the right words (Pod helping her out), and the trembling in her voice. I think it added to the emotion of the scene. I thought it was very well done.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of most of the episode, but that was legitimately a great scene. I'm not so sure if Brienne will do this in the books, so it's actually a nice change.

Anybody else put any thought into how Snow will come back differently after resurrection? My personal thought is since all his blood has presumably leaked out of him after the mutiny combined with the wight magic at the wall, he will come back with some kind of a wight body, kind of similar to coldhands (exception being the lack of blood). If you think about it Beric retained some of the injuries he sustained even after his resurrections (scars, lack of eye) so I'm wondering if loss of blood would be retained after resurrection. The books mentioned him being armored in black ice and holding a red sword in a dream of his, so I think his wight body will be that ice. Would make him a hard summabitch to kill, and presumably immortal.

ETA: Blood loss is not required for the theory as I realize still having king's blood in his veins may be an important thing to retain, but I still think he could come back as a conscious wight with the blood of the dragon making for a powerful mfer
