I think mentally he'll come back different for sure. For one thing, he's definitely done with his pledge to the Night's Watch.

Oh, I thought she was going to say she pledged herself to sansa's teachings as she kneeled and then call her master.

pretty lame and predictable if
SPOILERS
Roose/Ramseys plays out like that. no way that happens in the books. i always had it in my head that Roose would kill Ramsey after suspecting treachery on Ramsey's part

And the Manderlys possibly aligning with the Boltons?

SPOILERS
Disagree. Even in the books Roose underestimates Ramsay-he even admits to Theon what Ramsay is capable of all the while keeping him around as his right hand. Just like Robb and others underestimated Roose, Roose severely underestimated Ramsay. I believe Ramsay's fate will being taken by the others after escaping the battle with Jon and the northmen/Vale.

Well, technically they aligned with the Boltons in the books as well.

Yeah I'm not surprised by Ramsay killing Roose (if it's true) and/or Fat Walda based on this from the second trailer.

I think Ramsay will outlast Roose. I don't think in the books that Ramsay will kill him, I think that will be Lady Dustin and Manderly's men, but Ramsay will make a quick escape to the Dreadfort to gather more forces and then march on the Wall. I don't think we'll see Roose again in the books.

Yeah, I'm with you on that death. It's the only thing that I think could frighten him. Theon killing him will only piss him off a bit. Sansa killing him betrays the books. Roose is simply a cold hearted bastard. However Jon destroying him in a duel and leaving him to the Others would be the perfect death for Ramsay.

Yeah? Well frick you Carson

Yeah mentally I think he's gonna be much closer to a pissed off dire wolf considering the time in ghost is definitely gonna affect him, plus the whole being betrayed thing probably put a little sand in his arse. I'm more interested in the physical changes though and I haven't been able to find many theories on that even though I think it'll be really relevant. Also Bran has that dream where he sees Jon in the ice cell and his skin is seemingly turning to ice, so I just feel like it's heavily hinted at he'll come back affected by the wight magic in some way.

Even you have to admit Jon vs Ramsay should be the best duel in the series.

I'm curious how they're going to "capture" Thorn.

But what about Jon's hand being burned when he smashed the lantern onto the white walker? That is why i don't buy the being born again from the flames. He has already been shown to be harmed by fire.
If the same thing, say a wayward lantern, happened to Dany, she would be burned too. She would not survive Viserys' execution if it happened to her. She may have some tolerance to heat and can tolerate a scathing bath but GRRM has made it clear that the funeral pyre was a one-time deal, magical almost.
And if you recall, her hair was burned that night too.

I'm going to be pretty pissed off if they don't show Arya and a cat. That's an important skill.

Ramsay would probably enjoy it though knowing he'd have a chance at getting revenge in wight form.
