Add a woman in there and that's what I picture heaven to be like
Fair enough just haven't liked what I've seen so far. Longer TTK being the biggest of those issues.
Not saying you can't but its much more advantageous to put a rocket launcher in that slot especially with the reduced movement/jump speeds. As a result, a lot less variety and a much slower feel to the games. If that's your thing then good on ya, but I liked the organized chaos of the first. Plus most of the stuff people complained about in that one like shotgun sliding/shoulder charge could be countered if you knew what was up.
Plus you lose your ammo for it if you die, and introduces a whole new balancing issue because there is no way to spawn sniper ammo and rocket ammo at a good rate when they are in the same slot. It will always be too slow for snipers or too fast for rockets when categorized like that.
Also there's a whole class of weapons that don't get used now, because if you're not rocking either a sword or rocket launcher for the power weapon slot then you're at a disadvantage for PVP so you never really see many shotguns or fusion rifles. It's just a lot more bland and slow experience than the first. They improved bad stuff for sure but got rid of a lot of good stuff too.
What's ironic is that from what I've seen, most of the fundamental changes they made were for the sake of "balance" and as a result 95% of players are using an autorifle or MIDA lol. Thats also why they scrapped the random perk weapon rolls so as not to give any players an unfair advantage, but as a result they got rid of the only real reason to grind for that slight edge in the crucible.

They absolutely trashed the crucible in this game. D1 felt chaotic but also like you could pull off big 1v3 plays. Now it just feels like a slow paced team shooter with no space magic anymore. They traded what made D! fun and unique for "balance." Lame
Don't listen to these turds. Down with pewdiepie
So i just picked this up yesterday and I really don't like it. Do the movement speeds feel really slow to anyone else? I loved D1 mechanics but it feels like they took those and slowed them down a decent bit, especially non sprint movement and warlock jumps. I'm hoping this gets better with better equipment, but it just doesn't feel as fluid as the first one. Also not a fan of the changes to weapon slots.

People derive a large part of their self worth and identity from the role they fill in society. Ambition without the ability to pursue those ambitions seems like my definition of cookie cutter hell.
Simple but accurate. If you could have anything you wanted the second you wanted, what the shite is the point. You might as well just let someone put you under with a morphine drip and go catatonic all your days.
In. I don't understand how you can do so much damage to something so seemingly idiot proof as the LSU brand, but him and F*King have found a way sho nuff.
The part where Bran talks to the tree under the wall I thought was one of the cooler displays of magic that wouldn't have been that expensive to do in the show.

Wish they would have made it clearer that all the stark children, minus Sansa, are wargs and included some more wolf dreams.

All prophecy that has been left out, especially the house of the undying but I get why they couldnt include parts of that in the show.

Victarion and dragon horn. Non worthless dire wolves

Wasn't as bull shite when you read the facts of the case. That coffee was hot as shite. Scalded them pretty badly.

Everyone read "hot coffee" and ran with the story. It was more like volcano hot coffee.

^this. I actually feel bad for the lady because everyone uses the "McDonald's coffee" reference when talking about how messed up the legal system is here, when in actuality Mickey D's was heating up the coffee to like 300 degrees in the morning so it would stay hot all day and the lady suffered some pretty intense burns.
This reminds of an article I read a while back concerning a concept that the author dubbed the "Google effect". Basically, it is the theory that if companies like Google and Facebook obtain enough influence (which they have amongst the lowest common denominator of the populace) to alter election results by approximately 5%, especually in battleground states and regions, they would in effect control most election results. Especially with driverless cars now, I'm sure the tech giants are gonna need plenty of political influence in the immediate short term too so none of this surprises me and I'm sure it happens on levels we can't even see
I've begun to notice this in advertising more than anything else.

The Hardys commercial on the aircraft carrier and Budweiser changing label to America immediately come to mind.
Mel Gibson

if you watch braveheart thinking of the main character as Mel Gibson instead of William Wallace, I swear to god it's a different movie

Did he use the Sword of A Thousand Truths?
Yeah mentally I think he's gonna be much closer to a pissed off dire wolf considering the time in ghost is definitely gonna affect him, plus the whole being betrayed thing probably put a little sand in his arse. I'm more interested in the physical changes though and I haven't been able to find many theories on that even though I think it'll be really relevant. Also Bran has that dream where he sees Jon in the ice cell and his skin is seemingly turning to ice, so I just feel like it's heavily hinted at he'll come back affected by the wight magic in some way.
