Tormund is definitely up there too in favorite characters. Tormund, Bronn, and Davos are good baws.

Gotta agree with Blueboy on this one. They're getting towards the end game. If I doubt if they are looking to make many GRRM-like detours dealing with characters that are obscure even in the books and rely on Dunk & Egg stories for background.

Yea y'all are right. She's just some random old lady that they won't waste time explaining who she is

Except they just did. She's not just "some glamour bitch". You simple minded skid mark. There's obviously a tie in to who she really is and why she is who she is. And with Bloodraven expected to play a significant role going forward, logic would tell anybody that can follow along (so obviously not you) that there is a connection there
No, you dick-tickling fagtoy. You just decided that this was the answer. In order for it to be reality on the show, they have to spend more time than any minor subject warrants just to explain it to the audience. They aren't going to do that.

She's just an old lady who needs the necklace to look young. That's all the TV audience knows and will ever know.

Davos is my favorite character now.

He's one of GRRM's favorites. I suspect he makes it to the final chapters

When a show's audience complains because the show is to short or there is not enough episodes in a season the show is damn good!!!

think this episode confirms that Melisandre is Shiera Seastar, whose half brother and lover was Brynden Rivers aka Bloodraven. Bloodraven even proposed marriage to her at one point. Supposedly she takes baths in the bloods of maidens to maintain her beauty

I'm a fan of the Bloodraven + Shiera = Melisandre theory

Why isn't anybody complaining about the Brothraki? That was by far the worst thing the show has done since the fight scene in dorne last season.

Brothraki?

The dothraki scenes were hilarious! Some of the best dialogue of the episode

You know what I'm talking about.

And all it would take is one short scene with Melisandre and Bloodraven having dialogue to show how they know each other. It would also show that Melisandre has Targaryen blood. Whether she's Shiera or Shiera and bloodravens daughter. But hey that's not important either is it?

I can see that. I'm not sure based on tonight. But I definitely am leaning towards her being Shiera after tonight's episode. Couldn't tell if her eyes were different colors though

I thought it was obvious that Melisandre is actually old Nan. That's how she knows all of those stories.

A good part of the episode was really pretty well done. Unfortunately for me I watched way too many trailers and stuff and it seems like they put out like 70% of the episode in trailers or teasers or clips from talk show appearances

Couldn't have said it better myself. I stumbled upon spoilers for all the Dorne plot this morning so that ruined it for me. Best parts of the episode are Cersei talking about Maggie the Frog and Davos at the wall. I also have a soft spot for Edd. So ready for him and Tormond to push Ollie's shite in

Pretty sure he's talking about how they sent Quentyn to Mereen to get Daenerys on their side.

So Aegon IV's bastards have no role of any importance in the story and the Blackfyre's will never be revealed or spoken of on the show?

I don't think you've read one chapter of any book. You're just a spoiler reader
