No...no we are not. Hodors do want to know anything about the background of what is currently happen on the show, that was talked about in the book. Their ignorance isn't just about future events, but past events.
It's a work of fiction, geez.

You really think that will happen?
If Jon Snow doesn't get shanked, I'll stop watching the show until after the books are done.

Yeah if they change that, I'll be done. They've already changed one massive twist in the story by not including Lady Stoneheart. If they don't kill Jon, I'll stop watching.

No. 95% of them are just like us. It's really just cokes and a few others that are hardliners and anti anything that seems like background info.
After this year, there is no need for two threads every episode. Even the middle ground thread seems pointless then. There are Hodors in this thread and readers in theirs, and no spoilers posted.

Yeah that scene sealed Stannis's fate. He's doomed IMO.
Seeing Selyse fall to the ground was depressing. Can't imagine doing that to my child.

I still do.
I clicked in this thread this afternoon, and saw that something had leaked, and saw your Stannis comment, and I said to my self I'm out until after the episode was over. I had a pretty good idea that Shireen was going to be sacrificed, but wasn't 100% sure. But the minute Stannis told Davos that they weren't going back to Castle Black, I knew she was a goner. Him sending Davos off confirmed it 100% in my mind.

It will be interesting to see how the non-book reading audience will react to Jon Snow being stabbed (and on top of that, how the show will handle it). I mean it is pretty obvious that he isn't "dead," but I think a lot of people may be fed up with all their favorite characters dying and shite. Not saying it will affect ratings for next season, but will be interesting to see how the viewership reacts. As far as how the show handles the stabbing, I feel it has to be the absolute last thing to happen before credits roll right? To give it an ambiguous feeling...

Same here. I really liked how they developed her in the show and the actress was solid as well.
D&D kind of needed their own red wedding to get the blood flowing in the readers again. Shireen was the perfect set up. I know GRRM approved too, which is fine.
Now imagine Robert Baratheon burning Joeffry alive...would have probably been welcomed by some here. But because we as the viewers fell in love with this charming little girl, we get the awful feels when she's senselessly murdered. It's Apple to oranges but it's still murdering children for political gain.
It makes the players in the Game of Thrones worse than the Others.
the White Walkers kill for addition, not subtraction.

HA!! She wanted to either kill her or get rid of her. Couldn't stand her. F that bitch. I just wish she could have been up there as well.

1000% chance that Jon gets stabbed in the next episode.

Just got done and thought that was a terrible episode. One of their top 5 worst ever.

I think he still gets shanked. I think it'll be a cliffhanger. Now whether or not he actually dies from the shanking is a whole other question. I could definitely see him surviving the shanking next season.

I guess least of my worries. I look forward to the show every week, and knowing that it ends for another 10 months next week is hard, but man I'm not liking where this season went away from the source material.
When you look at season 1, it was like a word for word remake of the books and then it just kept changing. Last week was a great episode and this one had great parts, but the overall story just looks like it can't have the same ending.
