Greater good ethic was used to justify her sacrifice. "It was for the greater good. One died that many can live." The same greater good ethic was used to justify Nazi German's holocaust. However if her sacrifice leads to victory and Stannis is the leader in that cause, that's the ultimate saving.

Negative. There had been discussion in the last episode thread among the same people that based on a clip from one of the episode previews it suggested something happened to Shireen.

This episode was too far off, no one saw this coming. I think it was stupid and makes no sense.
