I took "Golden Crown" to mean that her kids will have Lannister hair, and almost a foreshadowing that her kids will be born of incest.
I feel bad for Jamie. Man he could be a bastard, but he just got his daughter's love and she dies like that? So sad.

If she is dead, that's a pretty awful parallel that both Cersei and Jaime have watched one of their children die after being poisoned.

She's definitely dead. Same poison that they hit Bronn with. Sand count only one's with antidote.

Well . . . I posted this thread from reddit last night. Figured I'd bump it for the day crowd.
VERY Large spoiler if true

What really struck me as odd is that NO ONE told the young woman to not mouth kiss the woman who had threatened and planned to kill her.

Did Titty Snake slip Bronn an antidote when she was talking about her pussy (that may be the most crude question I've ever posed, but it is accurate)?

Well considering they aren't filming for at least another month, I don't think there's much to that.

Stannis - There's no reason to believe Brienne didn't kill him. He admitted he was responsible for the snatch demon that killed Renly 9the man she loved, btw). So not only is Stannis guilty of killing the man she loved, he did so with dark magic. Those are two big strikes in the eyes of someone so bound by honor like Brienne.
Jon - They brought Melissandre back to Castle Black for a reason and that reason is to rez Jon Snow. His dying will have freed him from his oath, thus allowing him to wage ever-loving war on those cock-bite Boltons.
If GRRM has some uber idea and Jon really is dead, it would be the greatest red herring in the history of literature. We would all have to bow down to his ability to troll millions upon millions of people so thoroughly.
D&D, Kit trolling - If I were them I would be playing this up exactly as they are. From here than can go down two paths:
1. Have Kit on next season but only in sporadic flashbacks that tell something important. The next season he is brought back (since everyone thinks it's just more flashbacks).
2. Don't have him on at all next season, but bring him back for flashbacks the next season and end that season with Melissandre resurrecting him.
The second one is the greater troll but could throw the timing of the story at the Wall off tremendously with the other storylines as well as risk losing lots of viewers.
Ghost - the Mrs and I both wondered where the hell that fricker was. Bad dog! Bad, bad, BAD dog!
Arya - that story was getting slow for Hodors. With last night's events I think they all just earned some massive respect for her.
Dany - Didn't see the Dothraki thing coming. I think that, like Arya, the Hodors perked waaaaaay the hell up at that. The wife pointed out how much of a whiney bitch she was with the dragon, it took me a while to catch it. fricking dragon took multiple spears for her, saved her life, flew her far from danger and all she can do is bitch about how he needs to take her back, or at least get her some food. Can't she see the wounds? Living in Myreen has made her soft but I think the Dothraki will change that ;)
Myrcella - When the sand bitch kissed her, I knew her lips had to have been poisoned. Why the hell didn't Jaime turn the ship around right then and there? Regardless, Myrcella is dead. Hoping Titty Snake (love the name, btw) slipped Bronn some antidote is a pipe dream. She had no reason to do it nor does it fit with GRRM's philosophy of stabbing the noble characters (of which Jaime is becoming) in the heart. Nothing worse than him finally finding acceptance from his daughter only to have her immediately taken from him.

A couple of takes.
- If Brienne ever pledges to protect and serve you, you may as well kill yourself right then and there. She watches the south tower all that time and then literally a few seconds before Sansa lights the candle calling for help Brienne turns away to go find Stannis. Thanks Brienne, you are crappy at your job.
- If Jon Snow really is dead I will quit this show. No serious. Not because I am a fanboy but because it would make no sense at all in the context of the story. Everything with his story arc up to this point would be for nothing. Just two episodes ago he was in a stare down with the Others and the Night King gave him the "Come at me Crow" moment. Epic moment. Nahh, let's kill Jon Snow now.
Ok, I won't actually quit the show, I did watch True Blood, but it would definitley fall fromt the epic to the "this is stupid" realm.
- Stannis is dead. Can't believe there was any debate about that. The dude had destroyed everything he held dear in his quest for power. Perfect look on his face when he found out it wasn't going to be a siege and he saw the Boltons coming at him in vast numbers. He was like "frick it, I'm going down swinging."
- Cersei, hate her but that was rough to watch. Interesting to see if her walk of shame humbles her or if she gets ruthless revenge on the Sparrows. Half expected Sir Strong to head driect out into the City on a rampage and kill every one of those people who insulted and jeered her on her parade route, then kill every last Sparrow.

I just think someone stopped her, either Pod or the brotherhood
just doesn't feel right to have Stannis killed off screen after her burned his daughter alive the episode before
we, as the viewer, deserved to see him gutted

I agree. Pod may indeed have stopped her (since we don't know where he was at that time) but it wouldn't make any sense other than to help her get Sansa out of Winterfell (although how his nearly-dead arse could do that, I have no clue).

There is no doubt in my mind this happens. The only thing that is that certain is that the Onion Knight will immediately kill Melissandre once he finds out about the Shireen bonfire.

I'm assuming this is the best thread to pose this question - does anyone believe the situation with Jon Snow is the reason why WoW has not been published? If the plan is to resurrect Jon, wouldn't HBO want that to be the "big reveal" in season 6 or 7? If WoW were published now, and Jon is reanimated during that story, surely word would spread like wildfire (no pun intended) and put a huge dampener on the upcoming seasons. Also, the powers that be seem to be going WWWAAAAYYYY out of their way to stress that he's really dead.

Well Wildcat will be here shortly to correct you on how stupid this possibility is. I suggested something similar, and was quickly corrected.
ETA: I can actually see them not having Kit on next season like they did Bran, and have him resurrected in season 7. I would make Kit's comments about not being on next season true, while still being misleading about Jon being permanently dead.

I happen to agree that having Jon Snow sit out an entire season would be bad for the series. It just messes up the flow of the show. How does his body get preserved the entire time? Sure, lots of ice at Castle Black but what incentive do the men who just killed him have to keep his body around?
Easy for Bran to sit out a season. Not too many really cared about his story line. Jon Snow is just too popular to keep him on ice for an entire season.

It was snoozeville for 4 seasons until he finally ran into the 3 eyed raven
Watching Hodor shovel him around every episode sucked arse

They could have Mel swipe his body before they can burn it, and hide it is the ice cells under Castle Black. Or they can have Ghost (who a lot of book readers have believed Jon warged into) drag his body off and bury it or something.
ETA: Look, I'm not saying I'm 100% think it will happen, but I wouldn't put it past D&D to do it. Just saying.
