Man y'all are tough to please.
Would it have been a 'great ep' if Jon Snow had died? It was a solid episode, furthered plot development in at least one area, and provided awesome visuals. Not sure what the complaining is about.
And yes, we all know how epic episode 9s have been. But the same people complaining about the lack of anything major in that episode are probably the ones complaining that the season finales of 1,2,3 have been nothing compared to their previous episode. This season it will be different.

Im not sure what you are confused about. Castle black is on the south side of the wall.
So how are the Wildlings able to attack it without scaling the wall?

There's no need for the 'at least' in there.
I'm sure I'll like it better upon my 2nd viewing now that my expectations are gone but I did not enjoy it the first time around.

The Thenns and Tormund's group (which Snow infiltrated) DID scale the wall - there was a whole episode about it last season. These were special operation type units sent by Mance to allow him to assault both sides at the same time.
If you can't follow this - I don't know what else to tell you.

Ygritte and Jon and crew scaled the wall earlier this season or late last season. Don't remember when. That's the small team that attacked the wall from the south.

no shite.
i love the people who think this show owes them everything they want all the time. this was a damn solid episode and there's bitching that we didn't get enough peeks at other storylines?
they are going to come back around to it. there are some episodes where we don't see theon/reek or ayra/hound etc.
this is like the fans who bitch when LSU doesn't win by enough.

Holy shite man. They scaled the wall earlier this season (or last). Ygritte and Snow and that whole team scaled it earlier this season and has been pillaging villages south of the wall all season to draw out the crows. They attacked castle black from the south while the rest of the wilding army attacked from north of the wall

the Orson Lannister thread
I was thinking the Khal Drago thread
They are technically alive and watching, but they are in a catatonic state that they can't understand what's going on around them

There is a scroll bar at the top that lets you control whats shown on the map. may be Germans, dont know.
I wouldn't touch this fellow HODORS. Looks like it follows the book and not the show. I know they are very close to the same but we could be spoiled on some minor things.
