Has anybody pointed out that Olenna did the same thing to Marg's necklace that she did to Sansa's? There's a missing jewel.

I'm guessing they just want to kill and have no reason for power, though? I mean, they are frozen zombies. What would they want other than to kill people?

Great episode, even though the sack of Meereen was pathetically too easy, imo. Looking forward to when Dany actually faces some adversity. I feel like she's going to be so used to just rolling over cities that when she faces an army for the first time, she won't know how to deal with the casualties. She better hope her dragons are getting much bigger or she won't feel so invincible like she does now.

I think what tonight showed is that there is quite a big difference in the WW and the zombies that come back to life.

Yeah I noticed she messed with it.

exactly. this was the first time we got to see the "higher ups" and not just the typical soldiers we were used to seeing.

As much as I dug tonight's episode, all the scenes at Craster's really bummed me out in a well-this-is-all-awful kind of way.
This being GoT, I'm a little surprised we didn't get the visuals of the prepping of Mormont's skull to be a party cup.

That was one of the best episodes yet. No wasted scenes. Just unbelievable.
Really psyched for bran and Jon to get back together. Also breathed a sigh of relief for tyrion when Jaime was on his side. Getting podrick to go with brienne will certainly be entertaining to us all later on.
Tommens that lucky SOB

This was an awesome episode, they answered the poison question without lingering on it and showed the manufacturing process of the WW army.
This season is coming hard.

Jaime and Brienne, man...you could cut the tension between them with a knife!
And then Pod's "sir....uh, lady".

I hope they don't do the thing with Arya and her family at the Red Wedding. They're finally about to be reunited!...oh wait, nevermind.
I just want to see SOMETHING good happen to the Starks for once. At least Bran + Jon reunion or Arya + Sansa, if not both.

Never been to the middle ground thread before. How bad to spoilers get? Have a minor question about the books but don't want to stumble across anything big.

May not happen if Locke (sp?) gets in the way.
Can anyone answer where Rickon Stark is? I can't remember for the life of me and don't want to come across any spoilers to look it up.

I still think there's more to this though. I have to think that Tywin was in on it as well.
I'm so happy Littlfinger is back now. My favorite character in the show.

Rickon and the wildling woman Osha (sp?) were sent by Bran to a bannermen of the Starks in the North - House Umber, I think? - for safety while Bran and the others went north of the wall.

From when I've read it its nothing big. I honestly can't even remember any spoilers. Its pretty much just a thread for discussion between book readers and hodors without any bitching.

My thoughts:
- Dany sacks another city easily and then doles out some ruthless punishment to the masters. I can't tell if Barristan's objection and her subsequent reply was a foreshadow or just more support to the whole "Dany's a bad bitch" angle they've been working since...well, always. Like others, I'm still waiting for some adversity.
- This was one of the more uncomfortable episodes in terms of raw and gritty scenes go. The nailing up of all the masters and their screams, the spooky looking frick drinking wine from Mormont's skull, the rapes, the baby sacrifice/zombification, and above all that the torture of Hodor. Those motherfrickers stabbing Hodor and his reaction (staring confused at the blood) was heartbreaking. I could watch brother/sister rape twice an episode before I could handle that again.
- Locke's sadistic arse being that close to my boy Jon is alarming. Anybody that chummy with Ramsay must have some sick thoughts and that's not even mentioning all the reprehensible things we've already seen him do. I'm looking forward to a possible Jon/Bran/Ghost/Summer reunion in which maybe, for once, a bunch of assholes get mauled by wolves and everybody we like ends up surviving. Having said that I'm sure we'll see Jon arrive just in time for Bran's head to be fed to his wolf or some shite like that.
- I'm going to get serious for a moment here. I'm an adult man. I've seen graphic pornography and I've had regular sex. Unlike when I was 14, it takes more than a Victoria's Secret magazine left on the back of the toilet to give me a raging boner. But fricking Margaery's scene tonight made me squirm like a hormonal teenager. If I was Tommen, Ser Pounce would've had to look away while I beat my royal dick after Marg snuck back out.
- I love the Jaime/Tyrion/Cersei dynamic, and Bronn's talk with Jaime was one of my favorite scenes of the season so far. Just too awesome. It's amazing how multi-faceted of a character Jaime is, and I feel like he's turning into the ultimate anti-hero.
I'm sure there's more but I'm tired. This show just keeps delivering. It's always over too quickly.
