Yeah.
One of the lines used in the book was (I'm putting spoiler warning because it comes from a later book, even though it doesn't reveal anything):
"If Illyrio (the guy who gave them to her) thought that it was even possible for the eggs to hatch, he would have sat on them himself."

They had talked about how she was the blood of the dragon in the past and shown her being able to withstand fire, but you are led to believe that dragons themselves are gone from the world and the eggs are petrified stone. It is a shock that the eggs actually hatch in the funeral pyre. I won't say or even hint at anything else to avoid the wrath of the doucheman.

The scene with Grand Maester Pycelle was completely useless. That's three minutes that could have been spent elsewhere in a season finale episode.
The last episode of a season is not a time for exposition through a visit from Roz.
As much as I enjoy Roz' nakedness, it was a bad choice.
The Littlefinger and Varys scene was there only to show these two characters in the last episode a la "Hey! Don't forget about us!" That's really unneeded.
I thought they nailed the dragon reveal. It went down better than I imagined in the book.

for a sec there, with just her arse and hairdo...I thought it was Sansa
Hell I knew from the books it wasn't and I STILL thought it was her.

Ah, I see.
I probably inferred too much, because I thought all along that she was the "Dragon Queen" and those eggs would hatch new dragons.

Well she has been eyeballin' those eggs all season, so I wasn't really surprised that something like this happened.

I only post on this board now to frick his day. I may start to read the books now just to email him spoilers in the subject headlines

I'm glad she took a bath and put her old fairylike clothes on. Hopefully she won't go back to those dothraki doodoo colored clothes.

The frick?
That didn't shed light on any storyline except that Dany now has tiny dragons dropping out of her pussy and that she has awesome tits....2nd part which we already knew

If you are a reader, it is a MUST READ SERIES. And the books do a far better job of telling the story than the series. A LOT is being left out of the show from what I have seen.
This is true for every book.

You don't think her having powerful beasts has anything to do with the story? Lol

(She is supposed to be around 15 by this point in the story in the book...they aged her up for obvious reasons)
