Yeah just wait till people start to figure out what Hodor means in Dothraki, that'll be an epic twist.
But seriously guys can't we just all get along why does this have to devolve to OT shenanigans of name calling and what not.

You will notice that Varys while in the dungeons was talking with the guy that was housing Dany and Viserys.
As a book reader that was huge for me. As was stated earlier, I was never sure who those two were. I tend to think that since Martin is an exec producer with the show that stuff like that is accurate and not HBO taking liberties.

Good plan. I was awesome before I read the series so be careful.

just don't get why some have a problem with us asking questions regarding a television show on the Movie/TV Board.....
If you don't understand why some people are worried about spoilers then you are stupid as hell

Its ratings are significantly higher than True Blood's were at this point, and its gaining viewers every week, just like TB.
And its over-seas numbers and pickups are considerably higher than most of those other shows.
Not surprising since the majority of the cast is European and obviously are more well known across the pond than over here.

Bump to the first page.
I re-watched this last episode. I freaking love how they've done the Eyrie. Lysa and little Robert give off just the right vibe of creepiness and paranoia.
Can't wait for next weeks episode. Screw Comcast for not supporting HBO go.

how freaked out would you be to find yourself in a prison cell without a wall where you could look DOWN on clouds? That was awesome. Nice view, though...

Ratings Climb Again!
quote:
Combined with its encore, Thrones was up to 3.3 million viewers for the night, with the show averaging 8.1 million viewers per episode across all platforms. After a somewhat middling premiere performance followed by a steady second episode, this is now the third week in a row Thrones ratings have gone up. And given the show’s storyline is picking up the pace for a dramatic second half of the season, these numbers could continue rising and turn Thrones into a bona fide hit. Intensely serialized shows like Thrones rarely climb like this, and when they do they tend to become titles that have healthy lifespans.

Hopefully so as this is the first series in a while that I wait for each week. I have been keeping up with show so far in my reading and am really liking the two different medias combined. They have done a very good job with the show so far IMO and have not strayed too far from the book.

They did a great job with the cells, very high elevation and it looked frigid.

Loved the latest episode.
Ned Stark better get the hell out of dodge. Sure he is a badass but it looked like all of his men got killed and he has a spear in his leg. Time to go back to the north and set up defenses.
Lady stark's sister looks like she lost her friggin mind.
This is the first show since Rome that I really get pissed when it ends each episode. In a good way.

quote:Yes, agreed. But from the book, I expected Lysa to be a little plumper-looking than she appeared in that scene, with mini-perv son Robert attached to her breast.

I have Comcast in Shreveport and I have HBO Go. When setting it up, select Xfinity. That's what Comcast is called now.

Trogdor neds to work his leg muscles some when in the gym. You can't only work the upper body. Even Tyrion Lannister has better leg muscles.
