You need to see a professional if that's all you see.

I don't get 'triggered'. I point out trash when I see it. And I credit good works when warranted.

What?

Yeah, the theories have been out there since the comic started retconning the timeline. Another inconsistency is that in the first movie, Max has a son, whereas in Fury Road, he has visions of what is presumably a daughter.

Some claim that he's the feral kid from the second movie, but the kid as old man narrator in that one seems to contradict that possibility.

Miller thinks of it all as a legendarium, which sort of blurs the importance of a timeline. To him, I think it's all Max, so I guess that's all that matters.

It doesn’t look good to me.

Hard for me to take a tiny skinny girl as some sort of threat to survive in that situation.

And looks like the awesome sets are replaced by a lot of cgi.

Fury Road was an awesome movie to watch on the big screen. This one seems a lot faker.

Yes this is where you draw the line for realism in that movie.

So much CGI compared to Fury Road, but I'll watch it happily. At worst, it'll be fun and entertaining.

Biggest concern so far. I thought it would be subject matter, but they could make that work. I think the existence of a lot of modern weapons is also hard to believe and inconsistent with the other movies.

Looks like they abandoned the practical effects for almost purely CGI.

If anything causes me to skip this one, it's this. While the performances are good in Fury Road, the effects really made it unique in today's big budget movie experience.

I just wish we could get an actual Mad Max movie.

This. It's one of the things that Fury Road got so right. I can suspend disbelief to get sucked into a movie like this, but it's gotta look real. Fury Road nailed that. This just overtly looks too fake.

This is probably going to be a good film, but I'll likely never be able to enjoy it because just from a production perspective Fury Road spoiled me. and I can't help but compare this to that.

Mad Max: The Wasteland is scheduled to be next and will be a sequel to Fury Road.

That Anya Taylor Joy is strangely hot.
