Was able watch some of it this morning. His brother was a POS.

At the height of Cooks's popularity, I tried to watch/listen to his material, but I didn't find it funny, so I quickly gave up.
However, it's terrible that he was defrauded by his own family. I hope there's a special place in Hell for people like the brother.

It was so horribly unfunny. The people who thought his standup was funny are stupid people.

Yea, it was like listening to a drunk frat boy brag.

I tried repeatedly to get into his stuff and I just didn't like it. The only funny bit I ever liked of his was the thing about couples and "nothing fights".

Dane Cook was the only one that thought Dane Cook was funny. He constantly laughed at his own jokes on stage.

We watched it yesterday. Every word that came out of Erika the sister in law's mouth was clearly a lie. "If I had heard," "If I had known," "I was gullible," etc., etc. Bitch, you know you lying, you helped steal and spend all that money. As for Dane's comedy and popularity, I always liked his stand up. He was the first comedian to build a following via the internet, and it seemed like his popularity exploded overnight, which wasn't really the case. It created a lot of professional jealousy. He was just an early adopter of social media. Now, every comedian uses it. Dane is the Nickelback of comedy. Pretty good, hugely successful, but hated by Karens who think it's trendy.

Dude was selling out basketball arenas. He wasn’t for me but this is objectively false.

Watched it last night... Damn, what a story.
Dane seems like a decent person outside of his douchey persona when he skyrocketed in the early 2000's.

The plastic surgery is probably his biggest mistake

I never liked him either but Mr Brooks is the most underrated movie ever

What a bizarre time that was. Had that Costco comedy with him, Dax shepherd and Jessica Simpson. He was funny in waiting though.
