Fawlty Towers #1 for me, but at just 12 episodes too short to be the GOAT. Funniest ever, though, IMO.
Besides that, as others have said, Seinfeld and The Office.

Married With Children for me
However, I rewatch King of Queens more than anything.

I at least catch a few minutes every night before bed. Usually longer if it's pre-sweat pants Carrie. It's still funny as shite even after her kid.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Nothing else comes close.
Nothing else comes close.

Is this the thread where I name 1 or 2 shows and claim nothing else comes close and the rest are trash?
Looks like it
My favorites are The Office, Seinfeld, Parks and Rec, Always Sunny, and Curb

No one's named the Simpsons yet, and that's a little crazy to me. Yes, it's gone on way too long, but seasons 4-10 are incredible and it was a groundbreaking show.
I'm slso a big fan of Arrested Development, South Park and The Office. Never really got into Seinfeld, but it isn't bad

The question was what our favorite Sitcom is. My favorite is easily IASIP. I like others, but there's a massive gap between #1 & #2. In my opinion, IASIP has at least 5 seasons that are better than any season of any other sitcom that I've ever seen.

I always enjoyed either of the Bob Newhart series. Andy Griffith. Seinfeld. Wings. Cheers. Frasier.

At the time it was airing I have to say HIMYM.
Probably the only comedy I have ever watched from beginning to end during its initial run.
If I had to rank comedies I want to re-watch it may not make top 5 though.

Parks and Rec probably has my favorite cast
The Office has the best character in Michael Scott
But Arrested Development is probably my favorite. You could rewatch it 3 times and discover new hidden jokes. Jason Bateman's comedic reactions to the stupidity of his family makes the show

its funny how polarizing sitcoms are. Either you love them or you think they are horrible and whoever watches them are stupid.
For instance, I love Scrubs and HIMYM and have not gotten through more than 5 episodes of any other sitcom in the last 10 years.
