In something more recent I'll throw out "Girl From the North Country" by Bob Dylan/Johnny Cash that played in Silver Linings Playbook during a montage scene. Really made the movie hit home for me...
The Goodfellas and Apocalypse Now mentions are good as well.

Don't know the song and its not very long but...
... In the movie Sleepers, there is a great song that comes on in the bar scene where two of the friends shoot down the security guard(Kevin Bacon). Well made part of the movie that is etched in my memory because of that song.

A couple of my favorites not mentioned: When Darth Maul opens his lightsaber in the main battle of episode 1. That music was awesome. Also, kiss of the dragon had a fight scene in the old man's shop to N.A.R.D's - Lap Dance. That kicked arse... and the last one isn't a movie. South Park world of warcraft episode montage.

For a teen movie, Bittersweet Symphony at the end of Cruel Intentions was good.
