Chopped is my favorite show.
I miss Dinner Impossible. Robert Irvine is one of my favorite personalities, but I do enjoy Restaurant impossible.

i like DDD mainly for the locations he visits. some of the food at those dives looks amazing.

This is the only part of Food Network I regularly will watch. I'm not into cooking, so the cooking shows are blah. The competition shows don't interest me.
I can zone out and watch some different restaurants from around the country. It's cool to see the different stuff being cooked across America.
I'm not the biggest Fieri fan, but he doesn't kill the show for me.

I think he got a little over-exposed taking on shows like "cut-throat kitchen" but I'really like his style.
I really enjoyed Cut-Throat Kitchen. Haven't seen it on in a while.

I like Robert Irvine.
I used to get annoyed with Guy Fieri but the more stories I hear about him the more I like him. I’ve been watching DDD over the quarantine and really dig that show now.
Also been watching the prairie woman. She has some pretty awesome simple recipes.

Bobby Flay is the best personality on food network and probably the best chef as well.

Is Alton Brown or Good Eats even on Food Network anymore? I haven't seen him or it on there in years. It's definitely my favorite show it has ever aired.
Cooking Channel.
They came out with new episodes a few years back as well.
I can spend hours watching old episodes of Good Eats.

Was just talking about this a few days back. Found this on Google:
quote:
“ 'Cutthroat Kitchen' got cancelled,” Brown responded. ... Brown in the fall of 2016 said he was taking a hiatus from producing episodes to work on other projects. The last new episode aired July 19 of 2017
I liked the show.

Alton Brown is definitely my favorite.
Guy Fieri seems like he'd be fun to go drinking with, but I can only take so much of his show.
Bobby Flay annoys the living crap out of me though.

Always liked DDD just because I like seeing interesting eateries throughout the country.
But Guy does get annoying and hypes up every dive and dish he samples (I guess he doesn't want to be rude.)
For real cooking, Alton Brown...learned a lot from him...though he does remind me of the SNL sketch of the anal-retentive chef.
Giada...couldn't stand one minute of her show unless she was cooking topless.
Rachel Ray...her food was always ridiculous...today, we're gonna take some hot dogs, wrap them in chicken skins, fry them in bacon fat, then put them on a plate of canned baked beans and pour Chez whiz over it. Yummo!
And I liked the original Japanese Iron Chef that they used to air before they did their own version.

I want to throat punch some of the annoying personalities like Guy Fieri...What a tool!
I know, right? A guy who is enthusiastic about food, is witty, and lets small-time chefs have the spotlight is a complete tool. You hit it right on the head!

My biggest problem with Guy is he's way over-exposed to the point I don't enjoy him. Rachael way and that nasal voice is like nails on a chalk board.
I can understand. Guys like Kevin Hart and The Rock for example. I really don't mind them, but they seem to be everywhere and they just annoy the frick out of me now. Guy is everywhere but I still love him. He's the exception.

Is that hardcore dbag, Bobby Flay still in that network? He’s the least likable.

If you think Guy is a tool, you're only judging him by his looks. Dude is the fricking best.

You're right.
Throwdown was a great concept but Bobby Flay comes across as a total douchebag.
I remember one time he competed on Japanese Iron Chef and won and jumped up on his cutting board with his shoes with his hands raised pumping his fists and the Japanese chefs were in horror.
And the Japanese chef said, he has no class. You don't walk on your cutting board.
