Guys not a tool but everything on DDD is money or outrageous or to the extreme.
It's like dude, cut down on the Harold and Kumar kayaking dude sctick.

I see where you're coming from but, I like that he's propping up small businesses and drawing people to eat local.
Won't be long there won't be anything but McDonalds and Taco Bells and nothing else to eat.

Hey, it's a great show.
And he highlights places most people would never go to.
There are two places I went to JUST BECAUSE of his show and they didn't disappoint.

Food network doesn't have the best food personalities any more. Bon Appetit has almost all of my favorite food content right now.

I'm taking back the "throat-punch" remark on Guy..The Food Network has been running Guy-programming so much it's become painfully repetitious and I was a little annoyed at he time I made my original OP.
As I side..he's really over exposed and his delivery is pretty much the same old shtick. He doesn't cook anymore which is unfortunate. When he was getting started on the FNC he had a few shows where he actually cooked and they were good.
I don't know if he's a good guy or not and I don't care. He's become so repetitious that I don't enjoy him like I used to.

I’ve met guy a few times when I was in the hotel business, he’s an in demand corporate guest speaker. I can tell you he is a genuinely nice dude. He takes his job seriously and he’s as humble as you’d hope he’d be.
