Fantastic Four - Casting True and More... News

What's even more funny here is that the Fantastic Four see maybe the one superhero team where it really is about the team. Prior to the Reed Richards/Maker storyline, Reed was just prominent because he was the leader. That's it. It was the "family" that was important. Not just a single male character.
But who cares, girl power!

Additional rumors have said the Fantastic Four movie is a complete disaster.
It has been claimed by multiple scoopers that the movie centers around Sue Storm and that the character is the standout role. While that in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s the approach that is an issue as it’s meant to send a message.
It is said Fantastic Four is all about Sue Storm but the movie portrays Reed Richards in a negative light in addition to the two other male starring characters (Human Torch and The Thing). The rumor says Sue Storm feels she has been held back by Reed and she hasn’t been able to live up to her full potential because she is in a relationship with Mr. Fantastic. There are even claims about some sort of love triangle and feud going on in the movie.
“Sue has been sacrificing so much of herself being in a relationship with him…” states the previous leak.
The leak also says this is the reason Marvel has had trouble casting the Fantastic Four. Actors have passed on the script because it’s so bad, and it is also said to be the reason Spider-Man director Jon Watts decided against directing the film.

I had heard some rumblings awhile back about this but I thought it was debunked.
But I would not put this past Disney AT ALL.
Sounds about right.

Disney just can't help themselves. They just have to destroy every IP they own.

They're not going to stop. This is just an industry theme as de-population is the #1 agenda so is propaganda about women being anti-man and anti-marriage and anti-child.
Expect de-population themes aimed at women to continue full throttle.
Hollywood, at the behest of the elites, wants to encourage women to rebel against the institutions that lead to populating the earth.
Movies/shows about how relationships and families are holding women back, how child-rearing isn't as important as a career and recognition from people that either don't or barely know her. How men are secretly holding women back and are evil (oppressor vs oppressed narratives).
Look at Paris Hilton and the slew of surrogacy births in Hollywood.
You think any of that PR is organic? That's where they want all women to go next.
Brave New World is their roadmap.
It won't change until all of these production companies are bankrupt and the employees gone.
You cannot change the DNA of Hollywood and who they serve.

It has been debunked, but it's lazy people running with a false story.

Well, that's good news at least.
I mean, it doesn't mean they won't screw it up, but at least they won't screw it up this way.

This is very disappointing.
The FF4 has such a long and deep history to pull from to make a kick arse series of films, only a bunch of idiots can mess it up, yet they continue to find ways.

I hope this is all true. I love watching them crash and burn

It has been debunked,
That's what I thought.
I thought there were some stories a few weeks back that some initial drafts may have had some shades of this, but all that was kicked to the curb completely

The info in the article is based on random tweets, my favorite being, "comes from former comic book retailer and YouTuber".
But hey, who wants the truth when we can have another frick Disney circle jerk thread.

What part of Disney's actions make you think this was never a thing? The awesome job they've done with The Marvels? Eternals? The Silver Surfer rumors that haven't actually been debunked - and came up again on the Pascal rumors? The Snow White storyline and reshoots?

Rachel Zegler sounds perfect for this role. Regardless, I can foresee the press junkets now, proclaiming they’re the first movie ever to empower a female lead! So brave! Bravo

Not a strong black man, "a hot blooded Latino".
Literally, with the stupid MCU change from Atlantis to "Talokan", Namor and his people are actually Meso-American Mayans, but only dating back to around the time of New World colonization...
