Everything outside of the race scenes was super corny. Especially Pitt and the chicks convo on the balcony, but the race scenes are the best imax experience ive had in a very long time. Whole theatre was on the edge of their seat at the end. Im not an F1 guy so i dont really care about the racing accuracies. Admittedly im kinda pretentious when it comes to summer blockbuster big budget low IQ movies like jurassic park and super man but i enjoyed the shite out of this one

yea that was my only gripe watching it. The whole “I’m flying” thing was incredibly cheesy

Literally pulled from F1 Drive to Survive on Netflix from an actual driver. I want to say it was Ricciardo.

Its not a documentary. It's a story. It's a film. It has to have plot and character development. That's why scenes like the balcony have to be in there. The scene revealed why Pitt's character is doing what hes doing and reveals to the audience exactly why he's still hanging on.

Seen it twice now in the theater, and it's actually better the second time.

Yea I'm glad I went and saw this too. It's one that needs to be seen in theatres. The movie experience makes up for some of the hollow story.

Being an F1 fan you can appreciate some more aspects of the movie but also I could be super critical of some of the racing strategies that were just completely ridiculous.

It's basically F1 Days of Thunder. Which is a good thing, Days of Thunder is a good time, this was a good time.

Went and saw it this weekend.

It was OK but the writing and acting got cheesier and cheesier as the movie progressed to the point that I was laughing out loud at some of the dialogue towards the end.

As others have said, fun ride for what it was but dont need to see again.

Saw it tonight and was honestly very surprised at the number of people in the theater for a movie that has been out for 3 weeks now. I guess the word of people enjoying it has gotten out. Didn't get a chance to see it in IMAX and wished I would've, oh well. It was entertaining. The score/soundtrack was great, the visuals were cool, the acting was fine. I wish they would've included some qualifying scenes or something, and more interaction with the actual F1 drivers would've been nice.

There are some ridiculous things happening during the racing scenes, F1 fans will need to turn off that part of their brains or it becomes distracting. Overall it's a fun summer movie, enjoyed it.

To be totally fair, some of the shite Pitt pulls on the track isn't terribly different from what Lance Stroll does. Stroll just isn't doing it intentionally.

Also, Osama Bin Russell started a jihad against the World Trade Barrier in the film’s final race.

Bingo. Some of the things that happen on track are as silly as Days of Thunder, but I also enjoy both. At least Brad Pitt didn’t explain DRS using sweet n low packets…

A movie full of sound racing strategy and realistic results wouldn’t be very captivating.

F1 is a 90s movie made in the 2020s. It took me back to the blockbuster films from days of yore. Mindless fun with likable characters who develop and change over the course of the film.

F1 is getting more IMAX showings starting August 8. Must not be a big demand to see Weapons in that format.

This is like Top Gun but in an F1 car. Cheesy but in a good way. No woke BS agenda. Just fun.
