The release is expanding again. It’s finally at my home theater.

This is the top-rated film of all-time on Letterboxd. More than half of its reviews are 5 stars at 34.3K reviews. It has 54.2K reviews 4 stars and higher and less than 4K reviews 3.5 stars and lower. It is tied for the highest audience rating all time on Rotten Tomatoes. It has a 97% critic score and 94% audience score. It has an 82 metacritic score.

If you want to see something wildly inventive, original, hilarious, bonkers - go see this film while it is in theaters. So many people are putting it instantly in their top movies of all time. You don’t want to miss that possibility in theaters IMO.

That's funny I noticed how high the Letterboxd ratings were, I had never seen anything like that.

Just saw it last night. It has elements of The Matrix and a sarcastic take on It's a Wonderful Life. There are lines and scenes that are genuinely hilarious. There are two scenes I can think of that make it inappropriate for children. I'll watch it again when it's on streaming, but I'm not convinced yet that it will become a classic with high re-watchability. But it is unique and worth a watch for people who love inventive cinema.

Went to see it.

Even knowing it was going to be kooky going in, I was still surprised at some of the absurdity in it.

Great movie. It's hard to make a movie that ridiculous that still has a good, heartfelt message

Absolutely spectacular. The levels of absurdity it reaches while still remaining grounded are incredible. This is one of the most original movies in a long time and I still can’t believe it works like it does. Hilariously bonkers and deeply emotionally grounded.

This movie is worth seeing in theaters. Truly an experience.

This was my experience.

Also, every time we saw a dramatic shot of the raccoon in the cage like he was in jail I laughed my arse off.

I figured I'd better see this soon because anything that's not very mainstream doesn't last long in theaters here, if it's shown at all. So I went the other night.

And it was a pretty entertaining show. Some of the humor and some of the sentimental stuff felt a little forced, but I'm glad I saw it. I always like to see filmmakers trying something different.

Nice that A24 is still consistently putting out things worth seeing.

I went in near blind.

I don't know how many butt plug scenes I was expecting, but it was definitely less than it had

It’s a rare high when you watch a movie the first time and instantly feel like it is one of your favorite films of all time.

This hit right around when the cops and daughter showed up at the office building. Last time I felt that was watching Sicario in theaters. Awesome movie, it’s batshit crazy but in the best way possible.

Saw it today and thought it both great and weird. Not sure I ever saw a movie quite like it. Would love for my wife and daughter to go see it while its still in the theater.

Had to bump this as I just caught it in Flixtor. This movie was fantastic. Very well done and deserves a bump. Wish I had seen it in theaters now.

I saw it in the theater. It was definitely more fun being in an audience where everyone is shocked ("Ewwww!") at the shocking scenes, and cracking up at the hilarious scenes.

It's still in all the theaters where I am. This is a movie with legs. It may still be showing near you. But, yeah, you won't be able to see it for the first time again.

"A" for originality and effort, but too much sensory overload for me. Too many quick cuts, loud sounds etc.

Fast pacing loses its effectiveness when used indiscriminately.

For those who have seen it, would you be comfortable taking a teenage (16 YO) son to the movie? It’s rated R and mentions violence and some sexual situations. The violence doesn’t bother me since it’s likely similar to the stuff you’d see in a Matrix movie but the sexual stuff could get a little awkward. I’d probably have to ask the boy what is going on.

No not unless you’re really cool with penis sec toys and butt plugs.

Ugh the last 45 minutes definitely dragged holy frick.

Spoilers for Gay.

The daughter’s gay relationship at first was there but still not huge for a while but became a primal point of the whole movie. Gay movie hiding as not. Bleh.
