Rush 2013 with Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruno

It’s a fantastic film with a highly stylized aesthetic and an unforgettable score by Hans Zimmer

Black Book, 2006 film with Carice van Houten and Sebastian Koch. Directed by Paul Verhoeven (Robocop, Total Recall, Starship Troopers, Basic Instinct) and yet many haven't seen it, probably because of foreign languages.

Carice, a Jewish woman duringWWII, joins the resistance and becomes a spy, seducing a Gestapo officer. Great and entertaining film. Story, acting, nudity, action, suspense..

Phantasm, the first movie. Maybe more than 10% have seen it. Great old horror film.

Good, creepy film.

Dude! Thank you for posting this. Just looked it up and I’m thinking I’ve seen that cinematography style somewhere before..let me check the director because I feel like if anyone directed this movie that has felt like a fever dream since I last saw it, it would be him. And sure enough it was him. He directed this movie The Frame that I watched on Amazon over 10 years ago. I went in expecting your normal bank heist movie but man it goes off the rails quickly. Trippy, legitimately creepy in some scenes (especially the ending) and entertaining. It was filmed in such a way that it has had me half believing it was a dream I could never remember the name of it or find it on Amazon.

Without a single contribution of substance. Just a comment to remind everyone of your imaginary superiority.

War of the Arrows is a Korean historical flick along the lines of The Last of the Mohicans.

A nobleman gets acused of treason and gets killed by the king's soldiers. His 2 kids flee the capital and settle in a remote area on the northern border. Because their dad was a traitor, they grow up as commoners. The brother becomes the best archer in the region. His sister gets married to the son of the guy protecting them.

During her wedding raiders from the north cross the border, sack the town, and take a large number of hostages, including the sister. The brother had refused to go to the wedding and was out hunting when the raid happened.

He sets out with his sister's husband and 2 of his friends to get her back. The movie takes off at this point in nonstop action with his small band against a small army.

The Korean name of the movie is actually The Last Arrow, which makes total sense when you see it.

The movie is on Tubi in dubbed and subtitled versions, and there are several trailers on YT.
