I’m confused. Did anyone stop her from making what seems to be an utterly shitty movie? She made it and somehow got the budget for it.
Fact is just that it was stupid to reboot this franchise and from all reviews it is horribly done on top of that. This is like people wanting equal outcomes in place of equal opportunities.

Why are men to blame for this movie failing? Tons of women see romantic comedies and superhero movies, yet none of them turned out to see a movie of “a bunch of women kicking arse.”

She is such a terrible actress. Watch her seen at the end of Jumper. Nothing for her to do but answer the door and look on from the stairs. She was terrible at that.

Comparing something like Charlie's Angels to the primary Marvel character/"franchise" is apples and oranges.
Marvel/DC will always have built-in audiences almost regardless of the output/content so to compare another "hero"esque product to those is just not a fair comparison.
On top of just the ludicrous and headline-grabbing nature of the comment. IIRC, the first Charlie's Angels movie 15+ years ago was a box-office smash, which apparently Banks is willfully ignorant to.

I was immediately turned off by the cast. This cast doesn’t do justice to the original Angels. I mean where’s the babes?
