If he’s alive I’m gonna be so pissed. No way Gilligan is that stupid. Having the movie about what happens to Jesse afterwards won’t really ruin the show, just like Sauls prequel. But if he didn’t die then that changes everything about the end of the series.
This ^
I wish they'd just leave it alone, but if they make it as Walt survives, it's going to majorly shite on a great show.

What other reason do you have to make sequel movie to a tv show where the main character died in the finale?
I love Jesse, but Aaron Paul can't carry anything
I don’t know. But like I’ve said, I’ll give Gilligan the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.
The main character isn’t in Better Call Saul, at least not for 4 seasons so far, and has been a massive success. Yes, Odenkirk can act circles around Aaron Paul, but I remember some people saying “Saul is only good in small bits, not way that character can carry a whole show” etc.
I’m not super confident this is gonna be some great movie, but I’ll just wait and see

*possible spoilers if you are not familiar with the whole breaking bad universe.*
If this movie releases this fall, then it HAS to connect with the Gene story in BCS, right? It would be awesome if the movie ended with him meeting Gene, and the story finished out in BCS.

Considering the movie was filmed in complete secrecy at the exact same time BCS S5 is being filmed, which got delayed, I'd say there's a high chance of this

Jessie decides to go straight, applying at his neighborhood CinABon.
Gene takes the application and when their eyes meet...
They decide to run a meth lab right there in the shop. Instead of blue it'll now be cinnamon roll flavored.

The acting by skinny Pete in this is cringeworthy. Good thing Vince Gilligan is behind it though.

As a stalwart member of Team Walt, and VP of the frick You Jesse Club, I'm not all that pumped up about this

I kind of agree, but the fact that Cranston and Paul both pozted a desert tweet when filming wrapped up at least tells me he's in the film at some aspect

Could have been trolling for the release of their alcohol.
But I think Walter will be in it, during some memory or flashback type of scene.

I'll be highly disappointed if he's not.

Everyone hated Skyler. I wanted Marie to die a slow painful death
Yeah, I was really hoping that on that last day while he was making the rounds, Walter would stop by Hank and Marie’s house and put two in the back of her dome.
