No, but that's not what the movie is about. It damn sure is going to suck if it follows Jesse around after he escaped being captured.

This movie is about showing the police saving Walter meaning he didn't actually die in the finale.

Movie is going to suck. They just want money.

Also, will have no connection to Jimmy/Saul/Gene whatsoever

The movie has been largely shrouded in secrecy, but we broke the news that it will be a sequel to Breaking Bad following Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) after his escape from Nazi captivity in the Breaking Bad series finale.

No matter what I will be seeing it the day it comes out but I have my doubts that the Jesse character can carry a movie by itself. Without Walt there really isn't a point, unless Skylar starts cooking

But he's Vince Gilligan and you're just some anonymous schmuck on a insignificant message board.

Where have you seen this? Walter was dying of cancer anyway.

as much of a brilliant master VGilligan is at this thing, I highly doubt he would do something as stupid as that.

Right. And I’m going with his original intended plan (his, not mine so kinda disingenuous to act like I just threw up a script like Landshark on how he should done it) and not the money grab the suits talked him into 5 years later.

I mean you do realize this isn’t a planned move by AMC/Gilligan? It’s a push from Netflix, and AMC gave them the rights in exchange for the rights to broadcast it later.

And we all know quality storytelling is the first consideration of Netflix green listing

Whatever is best for story then.

I'm not above saying that vince Gilligan is a better television writer than myself.

Vince makes plans as he goes with this world..and look what happens.

Jesse wasnt supposed to make it out of season 1.

He is smart enough to notice what works in his story with this world. Sure it takes long, but I'd rather a season take longer if the writing is worth it.

I cant see jesse having a happy ended where he walks away into the sunset happy. I can see him turning himself in. Telling the story, clearing things up and trying to get Walter's remaining money to his people he cares for before going down.

common sense since they decided to make a movie. Otherwise, they should have left this masterpiece of a tv show alone.

No good can come from this movie

Just the idea of this movie excites and scares me to death. I almost feel like they should not have messed with this series. There is really nothing to do that will make it better

So you have no clue, you’re just making blind assumptions

Should they have left the masterpiece of a tv a show alone and not made Better Call Saul?

What definitive proof is there that Walter is actually dead? If I remember correctly he just lays down and stares into the sky.....

If he’s alive I’m gonna be so pissed. No way Gilligan is that stupid. Having the movie about what happens to Jesse afterwards won’t really ruin the show, just like Sauls prequel. But if he didn’t die then that changes everything about the end of the series.

What other reason do you have to make sequel movie to a tv show where the main character died in the finale?

I love Jesse, but Aaron Paul can't carry anything
