This is way better than not making sure they're dead so they can get up and shoot you

The movies have a lot of women beating up guys, I guess to show how empowered they are or something.

That's a crock of shite. A highly trained woman may be able to beat me up but paired against a remotely similarly trained guy she'd be dead.

that and when somebody you know is a flaming liberal in real-life plays a hollywood-cliche conservative

oh, and bad southern accents

How come every car in a movie can peel out like a Corvette.

Every mindless monster gets a few seconds to pause dramatically and issue forth a huge roar, as if to say, "I'm a bad motherfricker, and you really should be scared of me." I don't know what's more tiresome; the act itself or the anticipation of its inevitability.

Moneyshotting national monuments. Statue of Liberty must've been flattened 200 times by now.

That is so hack, it's more disturbing to me when she's not crooked and halfway underwater.

DNA is magic and every criminal has their DNA logged in the central law enforcement database that every agency has access to. Oh except for serial killers

Some good ones have been mentioned. Also...

Anyone can easily hotwire a car.

Enormous car explosions from gunshots or anything really.

All motorcycle sound effects are an 80cc 2 stroke with like 20 gears.

Movies set to a historical event that is really really inaccurate, see Pearl Harbor and though I enjoyed Braveheart the Battle of Sterling BRIDGE with no bridge. The worst though even more so then Pearl Harbor was the 60's classic Battle of the Bulge.

That's mine too. As if a serial murderer is going to say some gigantic arse monologue before he kills someone in real life and just wait for a cop or some other good guy to shoot and kill him.

This is kind of like mine. I hate when 2 people are talking about 2 different things but never get specific so it causes the misunderstanding to get worse.

For instance, guy lied to girl about going to a party.
-She thinks he's cheating for some other ridiculous reason and says "i can't believe you would do this to me."
-he thinks she's talking about lying about the party and says "i didn't think it was that big of a deal".
-She cries and storms off.
-All either one had to do was be specific about what they are talking about.

This is big in movies and TV.

I actually say some of those lines in real life.

I'll do that too. The person always looks at me funny, then I start laughing, and then they'll laugh too. Some of the movie lines are so stupid they are just funny.

If someone gets hit on the head, they are instantly knocked out for as long as is convenient for the plot.

More of a trailer thing but when they silence the music in a trailer during the punch line of a joke. Almost like the audience is too dumb to figure out when to laugh on their own
