Mine is pretty simple. The whole "are you a cop? you have to tell me if you're a cop" thing is so damned stupid. Who the hell ever even got the idea that that was a rule?

The thing where theres a big misunderstanding in the relationship or their is some big thing that happens that upset the other person and instead of just explaining what happened they just let them leave or purposely make them mad so that they wont ask about it

Spouting IT bullshite. For folks that know about networking, coding, hacking, etc it sounds like "halogen-fluid-pocket lint-ice cream-boogie-tire-iron-roscoe-egypt-tennis-five-blue-arches-fried chicken".

This is a big one, and I feel like every single movie does it.
Wedding Crashers actually did a pretty good job of combatting this, because at least Owen Wilson's character spent a good portion of the movie trying to explain himself.
Most movies just end up acting like it never happened.

I actually say some of those lines in real life.
That's an interesting point to ponder:
What is the point where movie cliches are so common, they are repeated in society because of their popularity in movies, and then are reflected again in the movies as a representation of society?

I hate when there is a scene where someone is driving a car and the driver constantly moves the steering wheel back and fourth. I mean is there cones in the road that they have to steadily swerve back and fourth to avoid.
I also hate when the bad guy tells his plan to the good guy before killing him only for the good guy to escape and now know the plan. He then saves the day.

Yeah when they finally do the "oh shite i need to do something to win her back" thing, he always starts to explain and then she goes "no. It doesnt matter"
Really? You completely stopped communicating with the love of your life over this issue like two weeks ago at most, but now you dont give a shite about it?

Films don't seem to have title cards anymore. I miss this.
I am also a fan of opening credits, this is such a lost art now.
