Great article.

Somehow my most hated character on this show might be Rosario Dawson’s husband

Wow, awesome show. I just binge watched the first six episodes over the last two days.

Dawson’s character is a little over the top, but other than that, best show on tv right now.

Its really well done, and increasingly disturbing to watch as i get further in (on episode 4 now).

In 2005 i was actually prescribed oxycontin. I recall the prescription only came with something like 4 pills for the first two days after a dental procedure. I cant help but wonder if things would be different if i hypothetically had the same procedure 5-10 yrs prior. Heck even in 2005 when i was in houston, i had to go to three different cvs locations to fill it. The first two didn’t have it.

Upon review, Richard Sackler is a true human POS approaching Hitler status.

Started watching this yesterday and I’m hooked. The acting is great, and Keaton is killing it again. It’s unreal what the Sackler family did to this country, and they barely got a slap on the wrists.

Don’t bring this to the OT. You’ll have a bunch of overweight personal responsibility preachers defend Purdue.

You were waaaay off at the start of this thread. Glad you researched it because it's pretty bad.

Bump for last nights episode.

Crazy that the FDA gave them a black box warning label, and they were still able to sell as many pills as they did. I can't wait to see what Billy plans on doing with those Training Tapes.

I'm hooked on this show.

Yea, that last episode hit hard. Almost impossible not to tear up when the sheriff delivers the news to Betsy’s mom, even knowing that it was coming.

This show makes me furious. Obviously this drug company ruined millions of lives and the FDA allowed it.

FDA is and has always been a joke.

Government sucks.

just banged out this show over the last few days, it was a pretty tough watch because I knew/know a lot of people that struggled with OC.

It is sort of a miracle that i avoided it honestly. Lived with a few people that were knee deep in it, several close friends struggled with OC/xanax and sadly a few that died.

I know i missed the main wave but it was still really easy to get a hold of it from 05-11 when i was in high school/LSU

I was at Bama the same time frame, and it was the same there. I stopped hanging out with a lot of people because they'd nod off in mid conversation with you. It was as almost as common as smoking pot for a minute there. Several friends dead, and many that almost died. I am lucky that opiates do not agree with my body at all, makes me very nauseous and I hate feeling sleepy.

Definitely had a few unhealthy nights with some bama people at widespread panic shows or when they would come to BR for games.

The nodding off is one thing but just generally speaking people on OC suck to be around. They become miserable people. Not talking about the theft or anything like that. Just provide nothing to table, they are dead to the world or spending all day looking for more.

Finished Dopesick last month, really like when Keaton gets a good role and brings his A game. Further proof of how big a piece shite Rudy G is. At least Judge McMahon had the spine to reverse the September ruling and maybe the Sacklers will lose some real money and do some time but I'm not holding my breath.
these Sacklers don't deserve a pass-again

this was my exact feeling watching it too. firstly, what a fantastic series. felt a lot like Chernobyl in that almost every scene made me want to either cry, or kill someone. and especially since most of us are from the south/Appalachia we’ve seen the effects first hand.

when Keaton locks in to something, he knocks it out of the fricking park. also love how many people they signed on from Justified. gave it a familiar feeling from jump street
