I used to hate it before I actually paid attention to it. I just don’t think I liked the animation or something.

It’s actually a great show.

Funny without having to be edgy, which seems like a requirement right now.
Yeah I agree, most of the Netflix stuff is edgy as hell since it doesn’t have to go past cable tv censors. Some of it is funny some isn’t.

I want to like it, but I just don’t find it that funny either. Same is true for most of King of the Hill.

It’s charming. I didn’t gravitate to it at first because it just kind of had the same color template and animation as whatever six McFarland shows there are now, which all drew from the Simpsons.

But I’ll watch it if it’s on these days now that I know the characters and occasionally lol.

Unpopular opinion: Teddy is the second best.

Teddy is great, i am torn between him, Regular Sized Rudy, and Zeke as non family favorite.

I've only watched about five episodes but thought they were pretty funny on average. I liked the part about Bob getting mad at the sweet potato fad.

- KOTH: cancelled
- South Park: still decent, but hasn't been great for several seasons
- Family Guy: shell of its former shelf
- The Simpsons: a tragedy, been terrible for twice as long as it was great

So in the realm of Sunday night adult animation, I'm thankful for Bob's Burgers. The first couple of seasons are fantastic IMO, haven't watched much recently as I don't pay for cable anymore. It has a similar charm to KOTH and Simpsons, while not being afraid to hit raunchy patches at times like Family Guy and SP. Glad they don't harp on current social/political issues nearly as much as the other shows, I think that's what makes a show timeless.

Does anyone know if it’s Fox fricking around with their schedule or do the creator’s plan for it to be released to erratically?

I think that’s just the nature of local programming these days. Feels like shows hardly have a consistent week to week run unless they are one of the networks top shows at the time or it’s the first season.

Local channels have to try to get more eyeballs these days with more “special event” type programming including sports, musicals, reality TV etc so the long running sitcoms get left behind when they need the spot
