My main issue with switching from Netflix is will they have any R rated or adult content. I can't just watch Marvel and kids shows every day. I need a real show like Narcos sometimes.

The "pirating community" doesn't exist anymore. Nowadays it's just people that don't want to pay for anything because the internet can make that happen for them.

Brace yourself for the "how can I watch Falcon/Winter Soldier without paying for Disney+?" posts.

I'm guessing all of the Star Wars animated series will be available?

That'a a big what if

I'd prefer maybe the simple titles like they are in the comics. What if Cable killed Wolverine type stuff.

It's tempting but I think I'll pass. Over the last 5 years, we have built up a pretty big library of Disney movies on our Itunes (using AppleTV to stream). I believe we have 20-25 movies on there for our 2 girls which is plenty. We also have PSVue which has all the Disney Jr. on demand content we would need.

I'm actually shocked it's only $7. Thought for sure it would be at least $10.

I am definitely going to subscribe and pay the year upfront so I can avoid any price hikes during the first year. I am really excited from what I am hearing. Disney was always going to do this right but I didn't expect such a great starting price.

What if you had read the What If comics?

quote:

What If #7

What if someone else besides Spider-Man had been bitten by the radioactive spider? (Based on Amazing Fantasy #15)

Three different stories look at what would have happened if either Peter's class bully Flash Thompson, his would-have-been temporary girlfriend Betty Brant, and publisher J. Jonah Jameson's astronaut son, John, had been bitten by the radioactive spider instead.

quote:

What If #10

What if Jane Foster had found the hammer of Thor? (Based on Journey into Mystery #83)

quote:

What If #12

What if Rick Jones had become the Hulk? (Based on The Incredible Hulk #1)

quote:

What If #15

What if Nova had been four other people? (Based on Nova #1)

This issue examines the random decision for Richard Rider to become Nova and looks at how things might have changed if the powers of Nova had been transferred to a vengeful wife whose husband had been murdered, a kind, homeless black man in a universe with no superheroes, Peter Parker in a world where the radioactive spider had crippled him instead of giving him spider-powers and finally an unknown character with a villainous personality.

Man that is a steal for 6.99

Especially if you have kids.

I know the price will increase but it is probably still worth it even at $15.

The best:

What if the Avengers had never been? (Based on The Avengers #3)

Hulk walks out on the Avengers, but this time Thor, Giant-Man, and Wasp decide to disband the team. When Hulk and Namor return to challenge the Avengers, Iron Man is alone and takes a savage beating, until Rick Jones, Janet, and Hank show up in their own Iron Man armor. The Iron Avengers win the day, but lose Tony in the battle.

I wonder how much control Fiege is giving up on these offshoots from his movie universe. He wanted nothing to do with the ABC and Netflix Marvel series that linked themselves to his kingdom.

I've read and own almost every one from volume one and two.

The previous post made it seem like that What If was a long title, ‘What if Peggy Carter had become a supersoldier and Steve Rogers had stayed a scrawny kid, but joined the fight in an armored suit made by Howard Stark’

All I meant is that it would be weird if that was the title instead of like the titles you just listed.

I don't want to watch half of that. Is there a $2.99 a month version where I don't pay for the queer stuff?

This will be a day one purchase from me even if it was $20 a month. My wife loves Disney and I have a small child. Honestly, it looks awesome.

I hope it had a lot of the older Disney cartoons/movies. My kids love the classic Mickey/Donald/goofy stuff and movies like Herbie, parent trap, etc.
