Aliens were not the problem with KotCS. Crystal skulls are real (whereas the religious artifacts are arguably not), and the fact that it ties in with aliens is not some huge stretch for the IJ universe. There were countless other things in KotCS that made it stupid, and aliens was the least of them (the idea of it I mean...the execution was definitely weak).

The Last Crusade was such a good end to the franchise.

Anyone that is upset, lets not act like Crystal Skulls was a good movie. That was about as horrible as anything could be.
And it seemed like Shia Labeouf was next in line to take over for Indy. Which would have been just awful.
No way Disney does worse than the last installment of this series.

Could do The Black Rood.

Oh? Crystal Skulls was terrible and I don't want another terrible Indiana Jones movie. Have zero faith in Disney.
