Admission of Crap
At least he admitted it I guess. Definitely not anything that everyone didn't already know.

I'll bet the Ghetto Bots and the crusty old Scottish bearded robot had nothing to do with the strike.

The hot chick robot was hot but she made absolutely no sense in the context of Transformers.

But she was hot.

The movie was a pile of shite, but I went in expecting that so I was still mildly amused.

So, they ran off Megan Fox for talking crap about the movies, is she somewhat vindicated now?

She was run off because she called the man who put her on the map a Nazi.

People can say a lot about Michael Bay, but he has helped a lot of actors/actresses get their name and face on the map. Hell Will Smith was nothing but some goofball on a tv sitcom before Bay snagged his arse up for Bad Boys. Martin Lawrence was a shitty comedian pre-Bad Boys. He helped kickstart the careers of Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Owen Wilson, Josh Hartnett, Jennifer Garner, Kate Beckinsale , Shia LeBouf, and Megan Fox.

I liked "The Rock", but I'm going to go with the fact Tarantino wrote some of the screenplay and characters over Bay being competent.

And what was the box office for GWH compared to Armageddon?

Not saying that it makes Armageddon the better film, just more exposure to a wide audience.

Before The Dark Knight, how many people knew who Heath Ledger was? He hadn't been in any big roles in any big movies before that.

GWH made 225 million worldwide at the box office it wasn't exactly a hidden indie film.

Independence Day, not Bad Boys, launched Will Smith to stardom. Bad Boys didn't affect his career too much.

Ben was in quite a few films that had nothing to do with Armageddon's success. He would have been fine. If anything he can thank Bay for tarnishing his reputation with Pearl Harbor.

Shia LeBouf

And frick him for this.

Bad Boys launched him to stardom, ID4 launched him to superstardom.

Does he still do stand-up? I heard one of his stand ups not too long ago that was from a few years back and he spent 20 minutes talking about dicks. It wasn't funny and was actually very queer if you ask me.

Armageddon and Pearl Harbor made him into a star. His choice to be irrelevant on a large scale since was his own.

Armageddon made $550 million and was the number one movie at the box office in 1998.

Emmerich casted him before he was finished with Bad Boys. I'd be willing to bet his career would be pretty identical to what it is today without Bad Boys.

No idea, but I do know he is still making shitty comedies.

Armageddon did help out Affleck's career. Pearl Harbor damaged it. He was fricking awful in it. Affleck would have still done well without Armageddon though.

I do have a beef with Transformers and Crystal Skull.

Again, what??

This is what made Ben Affleck a star, not Armageddon:

I liked Transformers 2! Good action, hot chicks, was awesome in Imax, etc. I don't see why everyone hates on it!

Transformers 2 was not good action. Can you remember a specific bit of action that wasn't Optimus Prime being hit in the face? I mean really Transformers 2 is a film that you really forget about as soon as you finish it. The only thing you can really remember is how stupid it was.
