Used to watch all the Bond marathons with my old man when I was a kid. She 100% had metal in her mouth. That was the attraction with his character.

It was the sun to her back, Jaws showing his teeth. Her dark lipstick , and the way her mouth looks before she smiles. She is def not wearing braces later in the film. Also , smaller screens and non4k didn't help.

There’s got to be another blonde braided-pigtail wearing chick somewhere in pop culture that had braces.

There is someone that looks just like her that had braces in a movie. I can see the girl and the seen but can't remember the movie

Never knew this was a thing until it was.

I assumed she did because of how she smiled at Jaws. He had metal teeth, and I presumed she had braces, and that was thing they might have in common.. .but nope. Just a homely girl with a big rack smiling at a man with metal teeth.

Having metal in their mouths was the only thing they had in common. It was love at first sight.

Moonraker is one of the most fun Bond movies.

Drax is one of my favorite Bond villains. His character wanting to kill everyone and start over was very believable.

The Drax in the Moonraker novel was Count Hugo von der Drache, who was a Nazi that became a Skorzeny Werwolf commando. He became a British citizen after he was accidentally shot by his own troops while dressed in a British uniform behind the Allied lines. He destroyed his identification papers before passing out, and was rescued by British forces. When he came to he claimed he had amnesia, except for remembering his name is Hugo Drax.

This is from Reddit.

quote:

In case you wanted some closure on this. In the theatre version, she did have braces. She also had braces in the broadcast versions. The braces were a special effect that were added later. When they did the VHS, DVD, and BluRay, they used a transfer of the movie that did not have that special effect put in. So, there are more than 1 versions of this scene.

So the braces were a special effect added later. When the actress says she never wore braces, she is correct. She never actually wore braces as they were added to the film later.

Someone find the director. Is he still alive?

I assume Jaws is dead? Let's get his thoughts on it.

When they were still fun. I don't mind a darker tone once in a while but they really went too far after Roger Moore.

To me, all 70s Bond movies were great. Spy who lived me, live and let die, Moonraker, man with the golden gun. I was born in 69 so Roger Moore was my Bond. In other news, Holly Goodhead from Moonraker was the hottest of them all imo.
