So much disrespect for Nolan on here. Lol at thinking you can do a better casting job than the goat....People just like to complain and whine .

I'm more concerned about her chemistry working with Matt Damon as Odysseus and how that will be reflected then her individual performance

A bitchy Athena ought to really draw the crowd at the box office.

I mean, it didn't stop people from seeing her in other movies she's been in. Granted, they've all been largely established franchises but you can easily make the argument that this movie will make money in a similar vein.

With the cast and Nolan, no one is staying home just because of Zendaya.

Say what you want, but this type of shite didn't happen when actresses had to sleep with Harvey Weinstein first.

Y’all do remember Nolan replaced Katie Holmes with Maggie Gyllenhaal in TDK, right?

Agreed. I just find casting of Zendaya, Leguizamo, and Paige to be distracting given the subject matter.

I think there's a better than 50% chance this movie completely sucks outside of the visuals.

So now you’re saying only Greek actresses with Greek features can play Greek roles?

Good luck with casting baw

Why not? She's a good-looking, light-skinned woman and a terrific actress.

She plays the angsty, bitchy teen in every single role. Nice body but makes Gal Gadot look like and Oscar winner by comparison.

She's won two Emmy's and a Golden Globe, not to mention a bunch of other awards and award nominations. Objectively, she's a good actress. You don't like her but that doesn't really mean anything, does it?

I have no issue with her, but acting is an art and inherently subjective in judgement. These awards are subjective.

Yea, those things are not at all political or subjective

Thankfully, she wasn’t cast as Helen of Troy
