that's what they want you to think. the previews are always deceptive.
on another note, It looks like they're setting up Cabrera to leave after this season. I like the guy and he seems to be the only realistic detective these days on the show.

Are you sure about that?
Yeah, next season is the final one.
Last night was good but how does Dexter not immediately try to find that mexican? Leaving the chainsaw for LaGuerta only confirmed Dexter's guilt even more in her mind. I don't see how that helped him. Guess he couldn't haul off the mexican and the chainsaw too though.

I think what frustrated me about it is when Deb and Dex were in the hospital, it just seemed that Deb was pulling it out of her arse, and when Hannah was explaining herself it sounded genuine.
Finale looks incredible though. I can't believe there's only one more season left!

I think Matthews knows about Dexter cause he worked with and was really close to Dexter's dad. Its almost been like he has been protecting him telling Dexter about the investigation and just how much he has been telling LaGuerta she is crazy for even thinking Dexter could be a killer. Maybe he hopes Dexter will kill her and he can have his revenge for her screwing him over.

And that's why she absolutely has to die in the finale IMO. But what about Matthews? If LaGuerta turns up missing will he suspect Dex again?

Then Deb def drank the water. Her levels were more than triple the amount in her blood.
I hadn't thought of Deb setting Hannah up until this thread, but that is how Deb could have done it.
Wrecked on purpose, THEN drank the water she spiked herself, knowing that Dexter would suspect Hannah.
However, Deb should be getting a DUI for it, and they even have confirmed blood test drug levels. She should be getting in some trouble as she's a Police Lt., but they may just ignore that part.

Dexter has been way too sloppy this entire season.

So what's next for Quinn? He killed homedude, but his chick took off. Where's his storyline go?

I think he left the chainsaw to buy him some time as a distraction

YES! I was thinking this the whole time. Deb can't be lying to him but Hannah was really believable. Ultimately I do think Deb lied and if Hannah dies or gets sentenced to life because of her lie, I can't wait to see what Dexter does.

This has been my favorite season outside of the first 2. I like it more when the story is about dexter. I liked 4 and JL was great but I had heard the big spoiler before which ruined it a bit for me. The chick who plays Hannah is doing an excellent job of eliciting sympathy while still being somewhat evil.

My favorites are when there is one main villain the entire season. Last year kinda had that but it wasn't done very well. I thought we were gonna get that this year with horned guy but that got resolved. Then I thought it'd be Isaac, then that got resolved. Honestly, I like this season a lot more than I think I would have if I knew beforehand this season would be several different villians throughout.
And as mentioned earlier, I'd put this one right up there as far as the seasons go. I'll always hold a special place for 1 and 2 just because I caught them all in a row and it got me hooked as hell on the show. I'd put it up there with 3 though.

Wouldn't surprise me if Naudia isn't really in Vegas.

I was thinking that when the stripper was telling Quinn about the "letter" but then she offered to show it to him and he let it go. I think this storyline is over and Quinn may even skate out of this season alive.
I'm more concerned with Angel dying. He said he was turning in his resignation on the 1st. He just signed his own tv/movie cop death warrant.

But how? He has no real enemies that I can think of and Dexter definitely doesnt' have a beef with him. The only semi hot water he would be in at the moment is letting Nadia take that shite from the safe, but if the Kashka's try to seek revenge for that dude's death and stuff it seems like they would be focused soley on Quinn.

I don't know. Maybe something involved with Quinn? I was half joking really but don't you think it'd be better to put him down now?
I mean he deserves better than that moment last night, when he was asking LaGuerta "Do you mean us??" and she was like "No sugarchild.. Just no..."

I don't see any reason to put him down. He's been one of the "good guys" at MM the whole time and geniunely seems to care about police work and doing a good job, with the exception of last week and letting Nadia take that stuff. I mean yeah that's kind of a big exception, but overall he seems like a pretty good guy doing an honest job. I'd hate to see him killed off.
Lageurta, on the other hand, is a bitch and it wouldn't hurt my feelings if her story came to an end.

Same here. Something isn't right about that story.

I think they're giving Quinn a way to leave the show without dying ("He moved to Vegas") while they try to decide if they have a use for him next season.

That's a good thought. Nice and easy way to write him out temporarily without having to figure out some way for him to die.
