Me, too.

My late stepmother lent me a book about this pilot a few years ago, I loved it.

I knew there was a connection because he was from Hattiesburg (where my stepmom and dad live) but what I didn't know until I returned the book to her was that she worked with (as a teacher) and was friends with Jesse Brown's widow, Daisy (who was a bit older, and had long since remarried).

I first saw an ad for this movie on a video billboard by my office; was pretty sure from the images it would be about Jesse Brown. I was right and I am REALLY looking forward to seeing this film.

I’m on the Jonathan majors bandwagon. He was great in the short scene in Loki and looks great in all the other movie trailers I’m looking forward to.

yes ... it's running at 2 hours, but should hold his attention with the aerial scenes.

Heading to the world premiere tomorrow and will report back

He was in THREE (3!!) trailers running when I went to see Black Adam and Wakanda Forever:

1. Creed III
2. Devotion
3. Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania

The man is getting some work...

Just saw and enjoyed the fire out of it.

Didn’t beat you over the head with race but you genuinely felt Brown’s difficulty.

Majors was tense and fantastic and you can’t help but root for Powell.

I know a lot was fictionlized but I had to wait a few minutes before walking out of the theater

Glad you enjoyed it …. It’s not fictionalized much at all. The book was extensively researched as well as everything we put on camera.

Was a decent watch. A little slow at times. Could have shortened the length. A soft 3/5 stars

5 movies in 50 years is making his point. You don’t see near the movies about Korea like you do WW2, Vietnam, and even WW1.

My 13 year old enjoyed it. I thought it dragged on way too long in parts. Would have been much better at hour and a half run time.

I do agree with the dragging in the middle but it was a good narrative and solid leads. Little onion cutting at the end.

Sad it did so poorly at the box office for an enjoyable movie.
