Devotion trailer

The film is based on the book Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice by Adam Makos, which retells the comradeship between naval officers Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner during the Korean War. The film stars Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell.

The true story revolves around elite fighter pilots Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner, who became the U.S. Navy's most celebrated wingmen during the Korean War.

About damn time we get Korean War on film, the true story is pretty crazy. There’s so many amazing stories, especially revolving around Chosin Reservoir. It’s gotten good reviews at early screenings.

Glen Powell making a name for himself in the cockpit.

Jonathan Majors doing the same in pretty much everything he's in.

It’s an incredible story. I hope the movie does it justice.

I was fortunate to be part of the design team on this one ... and we had some serious challenges like building an aircraft carrier island (on a runway in Ga. no less) and making sure the ending was realistic (will avoid spoilers) ... I haven't seen it yet, but my understanding it's a solid effort. Some flaws for sure, but a good telling.

Sadly I feel like this film will be criticized by stupid people for having a “white savior” narrative.

I think having JD Dillard directing will help offset that sort of foolishness. And the script doesn't present it as such.

Yeah it didn’t appear to be that much. Looks great.

Love Majors. Am coming around on Powell.

i've worked with both twice .... Majors is very serious and almost method. Powell is living the life - handsome, super nice and down to earth texan. His lady is as expected a near OT 10

True...there's a reason it's called "the forgotten war."

Only Korean War movie I've seen is Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War and that's a Korean film from the Korean perspective.

I don't know why Hollywood has just totally ignored the Korean War.
