This was supposed to be Martin Riggs introduction in the movie. I guess it was too dark and was cut.

I need to sit down and do a Lethal Weapon marathon some day soon. I don't think there's a bad movie in the series.

Directors Cut.

Not in theatrical release.

I don't. Some quick googling and this looks to be a deleted scene. Maybe this scene was on a DVD you watched?

I guess a sniper shooting kids was a bit too much.

They could have had the sniper targeting politicians or lawyers, but then most of the audience would have been on the sniper's side.

It's such a cliched scene. I'm surprised they didn't name the character Chad Riggs.

Yes, he is. I would fully support a Martin Riggs movie and let Gibson direct it. Won’t happen, but Gibson could do it right.

I've watched Lethal Weapon at least 25 times, including in the theaters when it came out.

I've never seen that scene. Pretty badass.

Donner knew what he was doing.

Yeah, that was a little too much. Glad they cut it.

The intro of Riggs was him buying the drugs at the Christmas tree farm.

Once again, a cop (who is supposed to be a tactical stud) is walking around without a round in the chamber.

A Christmas tree farm you say? Well, that settles it.
