I found the opposite to be true. I went to see it based on the overall approval from the board.
I think the main complaint was the 3rd act cheesy cgi fest. It had a great recipe, it just abandoned it at the last minute.

I didn't know about Tatum and Gambit until I looked it up after the movie but it was cool to see as Gambit. Jennifer Garner looked pretty dang good and then Blake Lively filled out that Deadpool suit perfectly.
This movie is really fun, just don't start wondering about the plot or anything like that. Sit back and just enjoy the ride

This was so fun to watch in the theater. I know there isn’t much “plot” but there’s plenty to go on and it’s a ton of fun. All of the cameos are perfect.

Yes the plot is dumb and the villain is weak but Jackman and Reynolds made it stick. Like everyone else the cameos were fun even though Wesley Snipes teeth were so big it was like Matt Dillon from there’s something about Mary
