Marvel/Disney being able to have a bit of humility about their past tribulations and have some self-referential fun gives me some hope for the future.

To be fair, if you've watched the ads before the movie hit theaters, you've already seen 3/4s of the movie.

unless you just didn't know what you were walking into, there's nothing it really missed on.
hilarious across the board, but it suffered a bit of Spiderman:NWH for me of just almost being a bit to meta and on the nose.

My wife said that she saw where Gen Z kids are recreating the choreography DP does in the opening scene in the TVA fight and they're calling it "the Deadpool Dance".

I was finally able to watch it, and I watched it three times. Though I loved it I still don't get the plot, and the Screen Rant video someone posted here talked about it.
The TVA wants to quickly purge the timeline because of Logan's death but that didn't take place until 2029. D&W takes place in 2029, so why would the TVA want to purge the universe for an event that happens in the future.
After watching it three times I still don't get why Deadpool was chosen to do...whatever he needed to do. Even with a new Wolverine, it seems that they were going to purge the universe anyway.
Aside from that, I loved the cameos but the established characters such aa Vanessa, Dopinder, NTW, Yukio, Colossus, etc. were wasted. Wish they could have been incorporated more in the film.

I think it was just mostly supposed to be a metaphor for Disney only wanting Deadpool and none of his “friends “ from 20th century fox. Not giving it too much thought, kept me entertained plot holes be damned

I've seen some speculation that the "higher purpose" Deadpool was chosen for is the TVA or Loki making sure Deapool is present in Secret Wars (possibly on Battleworld?).
