re: Dark S3 Discussion (spoilers after OP)

I just finished and need a lot of time to think things through. I do have one question and haven’t seen anyone mention it yet.

Why does Alt-Martha’s scratch under her eye change from left eye in one world to right eye in the other world? I know things happen differently in both worlds but that scratch only ever happened in one world, after she had died in the other. So I can’t figure out why it jumped from eye to eye. When I first noticed it I figured it was a mistake. But then it consistently happened. It just doesn’t make sense being that it’s the same Martha jumping from world to world, her scar shouldn’t be changing because of that. Did anyone else catch this? Maybe it was just a subtle way for us to keep up with what world we were currently in.

And the pendant Jonas found was from Katharina’s mom, who got it from Hannah. I have to admit I had forgotten all that stuff so I never made the connection. Incredible writing to bring that back around and tie that together.

That is fine for things that existed or happened in both worlds. The house existed in both worlds and was slightly different in each. I never noticed the cleft lips changing but maybe they existed in both worlds? The Martha with a scratch only existed in one world (in my opinion) because she was killed in the other before any such thing happened. It just didn’t make sense that a scratch would move on her face every time she changed worlds. I tend to think they did it to help us keep track. I think someone in this thread or the other mentioned how this show had an easy plot to follow. I constantly think about that statement and wonder if they were just being sarcastic and I missed it or if they really were high.

I feel like you are just agreeing with me. Jonas needed a shower and when he crossed worlds he still needed a shower. It was the same Jonas. Not an alternate version. The same way it was the same Martha, not an alternate version from another world so why would her scratch move?

She didn't. She existed in both. She was from the second world, but was the one that saved jonas from the apocalypse in his world (and was also pulled away by Bartosz at the same time). We see her first when she saves jonas. Then later we see how she got the scratch under the fence, and it was on the other eye because she got the scratch in her world.

Go back and watch the final scene in the show. Discount all her shite in the alternate worlds. I mean she was even killed by her son in one of those alternate worlds.
