One of my favorite things about the show.

Popped in this thread to mention the USS Cygnus since my son and I just sat down and watched The Black Hole last night. Very well done movie - much better than my recollection of it. The scenes where they first encounter the Cygnus and are exploring its exterior are good in particular.
How can it be that in this age of wanting to remake every movie ever made, no one has done a straight sci fi horror remake of TBH? The Disney version skirts the line of trying to be legitimately scary for the first 30 minutes or so. The bones of a pretty unsettling film are there if you strip away all the stuff intended to make it more palatable for kids.
Although I suppose one could argue that Event Horizon is an unintended quasi-sequel of what happened after the Cygnus came out the other side.

Excellent choice. How I missed posting it myself is a mark of dishonor.

Annialatrix in Frisky Dingo.
When launched, it didn't take off but moved the earth two feet and solved global warming

Death Star maybe classified as a space station but it did travel through space.
