I honestly do not even remember season 5 at all. It makes me wonder if I even saw it.

I definitely didn't see the yahoo season

Also, in Season 5 Abed might have the funniest scene in TV history with his Nic Cage impression.

Anything Leonard is usually fantastic. Matt Berry was great in Grifing 101

Just got to the dungeons and dragons episode, marks the point where Pierce just becomes an a-hole without any attempt to soften that.

When Chevy left that drunk voicemail to Harmon that's basically what he was saying that they just made Pierce a racist a-hole for no reason but i think the reason was Chevy was being an arse on the set and that was Dan's way to get back at him.

They both have culpability on how that whole thing went down. I just wish they had either figured out how to coexist or cut the cord earlier than they did

I've been watching this show straight through for the first time and just cracking up. Can't believe I slept on it for so long.

When they introduced the Greendale Human Being I had to pause it I was laughing so hard

We can only hope Netflix has the mind to and the will power to make a movie happen

The cast was together for some interviews recently (minus Chevy and Donald) and they all agreed that they would be 100% on board with a movie and would jump at the chance...but all thought getting Donald back would be difficult.

Not because he hates the show or them. Pudi and he are still very close and he talked with Harmon a bit while writing Atlanta.

They just all thought he’s just too smart creatively and may look at it as going backwards.

NBC does the best comedies. Those 3 shows plus 30 rock used to all run I believe in a 2 hour block back to back. I think at one point scrubs was also in there as well. I mean good god. They also had Frazier, friends, and Seinfeld all running in the 90s as well.

NBC in the 2000’s had a ton of awesome shows, but zero stability in management, sp every time a new executive would come in, they’d shuffle the lineup and try to kill the existing shows.

NBC had nearly all of the best shows in the 2000’s: Chuck, Scrubs, the Office, Parks and Rec, Outsourced, 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, Heroes, etc

NBC had all the quirky innovative shows. ABC was nothing but gossipy soap opera shows and celebrity reality tv competitions, and CBS was just procedural CSINCIS redux and bad formulaic laugh track sitcoms. Fox had the kickass action shows, cartoons, and outrageous reality tv.

CBS is still just as crappy, ABC now has several well written family sitcoms as they have that formula down pat, and NBC can’t seem to find any shows that stick at all. Fox was dumb enough to let Brooklyn 99 go.

Network tv is in the toilet.

doubt he actually looks at it as "going backwards" but he probably has so much he himself is working on that he would rather focus on that stuff than go back and do a small niche thing that the community would ultimately be.

im sure he would like to do it as he is still friends with dani pudi and seemed to have a legitimate relationship with others like alison brie when he was on the show. hes just so big and popular and has so much that he himself ahs going on that it would be really hard

Feel like there’s some middle ground where he can return in a cameo type role towards the end or involve is small part with the plot.

I’m sure he doesn’t want to commit to being the star of the movie, but there’s probably a fun way to effectively use him over the course of like 3 days filming.

Think for a while right after community he wanted to separate himself as much as possible so he could be taken serious as a writer/actor/etc. but now he’s bonafide so it’s not like going back can undo his rep
