The pre-final fight montage in ep9 was alright, and the music doesn’t compare to KK. But damn… Carrie Underwood’s fine self and those incredible legs make up for it.

Just finished. Damn, the Arc of Silver going from reformed sociopath back to sociopath was awesome. I didnt really see the KK3 Silver until he beat the snot out of Stingray and then it came full out when he had Kreese arrested.

Just finished. Wow. That was one of the best seasons yet, maybe #2 to S1 just because the newness of it slapped us all in the face with its awesomeness.
I still think Hillary Swank shows up as some tech billionaire whose richness somehow outranks Silver in the end. If they want to include Will Smith's awful kid, they'll have to go multiverse or something, so I expect Mike Barnes, maybe a side order of Dutch (though he might be on Johnny's side since Kreese is out of the picture now) and Hillary Swank.
Is it confirmed that 5 will be the final season?

Yeah as much as people bitched about Mary Mouser, which I never did because she has a legit medical issue, I thought Miguel’s actor really neglected the training room in the off-season. Although, I think a better haircut would go a long way. Robby had weird fricking hair until he cut it too
Also: do we think Hawk is actually better than Robby? I don’t think so. I do think he’s the second best fighter among the teens though. Out of all the students, Hawk and Robby are the only two to get the most out of Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai, though I still think Robby would be better if he went more defensive and the opposite for Hawk.
Hell, if it weren’t for injury, Robby would have beaten Miguel with just Miyagi-Do in Season 1.

Ralph and Zabka did an interview. The guy asked them about Jaden Smith and Hillary Swank. Ralph said specifically that Jaden and Jackie Chan would not appear because they are building this show around Myagi and his “universe”. So swank is a possibility.

Did anyone else feel Miguel was underutilized? Probably my one complaint. The cast is so bloated and talented and the addition of yet another character (Kenny) and the focus on Robby and story (which I liked) left me feeling like he just took a backseat.
I also don’t feel like, unlike the others, his heart wasn’t in the All-Valley. Everyone else seemed extremely motivated except him.

As much as I’ve enjoyed the show, it should be nearing its end. The Johnny vs Danny bit and the greatness around it is wearing itself out. The kids are losing interest in competing (Hawk won the All Valley???). One more season to close everything out should be enough.
I thought season 4 was very anti climactic in a lot of ways, finishing off with a very underwhelming tournament.
Maybe Chozen comes back to remind Daniel what Myagi karate is all about and they can find themselves again because this show basically goes against everything Myagi stood for.

I was doing some reading about Dutch (Chad McQueen). They asked him a couple of years ago if he wanted to be in the show (for the OG Cobra Kai reunion episode) but he couldn't because of his auto racing schedule (he races, like his dad). However, they left Dutch open for a future appearance, which is why they had the others say he's in jail for some unspecified reason. So we could still get Dutch.
