Billion Dollar Baby and Bridges of Madison County should be much, MUCH lower.

Always thought BDB was at least a bit overrated. Think BMC is a pretty good film - like the book myself, but the soundtrack is fabulous - but that's too high.

I think A Perfect World is a great film and disagree completely with the reviewer in that link that it's fomulaic. It's my favorite CE film, though I can see why others are chosen ahead of it. But it's way too low and several are way too high. Horrible list, imo.

Wouldn't be a bad bracket, though, would it?

Elvis' death will always be more impactul for most of us due to the fact that he died at 42. That is a long ways from 90 something.

Clint has a number of movies that I have watched over and over. I will be watching them until I die, I guess. I reckon so....

Bird in underrated and sadly forgotten.
Play misty for me is also a forgotten classic.

Ill always remember the bit from the Simpsons where Homer brings home a movie from Blockbuster that he thought would be ultra violent.
With Eastwood and Lee Marvin.

Who is left from the old school Hollywood greats? Clint. Mel Brooks.

The Philo Beddoe movies are way underrated. They're hilarious and some of Eastwood's best work.

i don't get overly emotional for a lot of hollywood passing, but occasionally there are some that really affect me.

i will seriously grieve when he passes.

even though I think his politics were stupid, I felt the same for Rob Reiner and I will for Tom Hanks as well, but there are few between those two. Even though Arnold is mildly on my side of the aisle, there is an understanding of transcendent talent and ability. It's foolish to let politics diminish that.

Some people's careers supersede personal opinions and politics of the day .

You could probably make an argument that Eastwood has the most overall successful career in show biz history. TV star, movie star of all types, directed and produced a ton of great movies. And he even composed the musical score for some of his films.

I know there are other names in that hat but man he has a solid 60 year resume.

William Shatner. And honestly at age 95, Captain Kirk looks the best out of all of them.

That vigor is from all them green women he had back in the day.

It's crazy how actors seem to live forever. I'd love to see a study on if their lifespans are longer than the average adults.

Such a legend. The world misses having a guy like him constantly putting out good work.

Some of you need to log off the poli board for life. Clint Eastwood's political opinions had zero impact on your life. Quit acting like he somehow harmed you by not thinking exactly like you.

probably my favorite Eastwood directed movie. Incredible performance by Costner
