I'm surprised they didn't do this 20 years ago, or 10 years ago when weed became legal in multiple states, but here we go.
It's a documentary, but looks interesting.
Cheech and Chong are reuniting for one last film

Cheech and Chong are returning to the big screen for a new documentary, Cheech and Chong’s Last Movie.
quote:They are currently shopping for a distributor.
The new film, which is likely to be their final major project together, premiered this week (March 12) at South By Southwest, helmed by director David Bushell, who has previously produced films including Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Dallas Buyers Club.

this has zero chance to be good
Cheech and Chong was funny as two doper guys going through life seeking their next high, and they were completely relatable to kids of that era also struggling to get high
that shite isnt funny when the 2 guys are in their 70s and they are completely unrelatable to any of todays kids

Chong is 85
ok, i was trying to be kind
but him and cheech getting high at 85 isnt going to sell tickets
maybe if they use them to play off on newer younger versions of themselves, because no one today relates to the hippies of the 60s

They should team up with the Broken Lizard guys and give us the Weedfest sequel to Beerfest that they teased

It's a documentary about their careers. They aren't trying to make another Up In Smoke, Nice Dreams, or Next Movie.

Couldn't disagree more.
It's still at least 90% better than the garbage they're spitting out today, especially at Disney/Pixar.

He looks better than Cheech does at 77.
Chong, 85, at the premiere (via Rolling Stone). “‘Oh, you want to do a documentary on us? Ok, when do you need me to show up?’ It’s an extension of what we’ve been doing for years. The plan has always been that there’s no real plan.”
I'm kinda in.

I think you greatly underestimate how often their movies ran on Comedy Central and HBO all through the 90s.

I've heard lots of high school kids quote Up In Smoke.
