Charges against Alec Baldwin dismissed with prejudice

This after it was discovered that the prosecution had been hiding evidence from Baldwin’s defense team.

I followed the trial of the armorer pretty closely earlier this year. IMO, she was one of several people responsible. She definitely deserved to go down, but they seemed to be handing out immunity deals like candy to everyone else who should have gone down with her.

It's more involved than that. This was bullets that a person (on the defenses witness list for the Hannah Guttierez-Reed trial) tangentially involved brought to the Sheriff's office when that case was in closing arguments.
They weren't found at the scene, they were in Arizona at the time (shooting was in New Mexico).
I'm not saying the state didn't bungle this (because they did), but it wasn't a major piece of evidence.

Not exactly. The Rust shooting was a live round. Brandon Lee was shot by a gun that had a bullet stuck in the barrel and then wasn't properly cleared before a blank was fired at Lee that forced the stuck bullet out of the barrel.

He shouldn't have been charged in the first place the fault is in the armorer.

Fixed it for you. She was awful in court during the armorer case, this thing has been bungled from the start and Baldwin is a POS who won't take responsibility for anything.

No, idiot, she is terrible at her job. Baldwin should own what he did instead of deflecting. I didn't believe he would be convicted but he acts like he has no accountability in killing a person and putting another in the hospital.
