No, idiot, she is terrible at her job. Baldwin should own what he did instead of deflecting. I didn't believe he would be convicted but he acts like he has no accountability in killing a person and putting another in the hospital.
Okay, but you brought up DEI and her being a lesbian, dumbass.

I don’t think he did anything that hasn’t been done since the beginning of movie making.
There’s a few people who have to check the ammunition and clear a weapon. The weapon was cleared. They said it’s safe. “Professional experts”. Baldwin is not an expert on weapon ammunition. It’s pretty simple.

The prosecution was not trying to win this case. why bring the case then?
What they ended up doing is making themselves look very, very fricking stupid.

Now he can’t be tried again unless Ashley Judd shows up.

Never assume anything.
Always check the gun yourself and don't point a gun at anyone.

What is Alec Baldwin supposed to see that the other (however many) experts didn’t see? He can call a safety check. But it’s not him checking it, it’s the experts who had already checked it. I cannot believe that they brought criminal charges on him.
He doesn’t even have the ability to clear the weapon himself. He can’t.

Charges against Alec Baldwin dismissed with prejudice

This is what DEI does to law schools. The state withholding evidence, and saying things on the stand that are BS:
Prosecutors and cops have been pulling this kind of shite since the dawn of this country

It's ok. I heard they tacked on another 18 months to the armorer's sentence.

I know. They never should have charged him with anything. All he did was point a loaded gun at a person and pull the trigger.

Public pressure.

Women handling firearms. Women on the Secret Service detail. I'm starting to see a trend here.

I think Baldwin is a POS (have thought that ever since the vmail to his daughter was released, my views on him and continually declined since then). That said, how much accountability does he need to assume when what happened was caused completely by someone else?
Again, he's a raging piece of shite, but he (and everyone else) had every expectation that any firearm he was handling for scenes was either incapable of firing or else held only blanks.

Not sure what context you could add that would get most people to the point where they felt there was any criminal aspect to what happened from Baldwins perspective.

No one in his position should do this. He would essentially be making the case for the prosecutor in his criminal case as well as help the people that filed suit against him civilly. I can't stand the guy, but he should avoid any conversations about this until all of the suits are settled; which is exactly what you would say if the person in Baldwin's shoes was someone you actually liked.
