Fans of Archer should really check out Lucy, Daughter of the Devil. It didn't last long, but was great while it did.

If you think there arent any good cartoons these days, then you're watching the wrong stuff.

Now, cartoons are instant and can be watched all day, every day.

When I was a kid, it was only Sat morning and maybe a few in the afternoon after school. Sat mornings meant waking up early and staying in PJ's until at least noon once the programming shifted over. It was soap opera for kids.

I mostly agree that a lot today is just weird crap, but there are a couple of really funny cartoons out now.

The Amazing World of Gumball is awesome. I watch it with my son and I laugh as much as he does. Teen Titans Go is another really good one, although the last two seasons have fallen off a good bit.

I'm sorry you'll never know the pure joy of sitting through the Saturday morning farm report so you'll be up in time for Flash Gordon.

I remember those days. I was born in 70’s. But given the choice, I would have rathered watch cartoons whenever I wanted and whatever I wanted like my nieces and nephews do now

Gum ball, Teen Titans, Gravity Falls, all have some legit LOL episodes. After 12 years of Spongebob I’m just numb to it.

As a kid that grew up without cable in the 90's I probably watched way too much PBS. Arthur and Clifford were at the top for me. Fox Kids afternoon and mornings before school got plenty of screen time as well. Animaniacs, Eeek the Cat, Bobby's World, Spiderman, and X-Men.

19 month old watches Paw Patrol. It's all about community, socialism, environmentally friendly, the bad guy is an older white man... it's got it all I tell you.

I'm not exactly sure what has happened, but what they are putting out today is straight garbage.

Agreed, and it started in the late 90's. The 80's were amazing!

One of the worst things about today's cartoons is the animation. Animators are either too lazy, unskilled, or tasteless. Just look at the shapes of characters in the new DuckTales or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles compared to the originals.

I see some mentions of Teen Titans Go. The problem with that series is that it's not Teen Titans. The saving grace for it is that it stars the lovable characters and humor from Teen Titans... which was an absolutely wonderful cartoon.

While I don't want to classify it as a "cartoon," but simply an animated show, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast was also amazing!

Other than a few exceptions, I think I'll stick with Japanese animation/anime if I want to watch modern "cartoons." Fairy Tale is family.

Was working on a living room ceiling the other day and a 6 y/o was watching some show called Uncle grandpa. Legit all he does is go around doing dumb shite talking like a retard. His parents were outside bullshitting with neighbors just letting his brain rot for hours.
