How big was the auditorium? Most major movie theater chains have discounted tickets and/or concessions on Tuesdays. AT&T also has their buy a ticket, get a ticket promo for Tuesdas as well.

Twice? This dude claims to have seen at least a dozen different empty theaters.

Captain Marvel earned another $5.5 million (-39%) on its fourth Friday to bring its domestic total to $338.705 million. The $150 million-budgeted sci-fi flick should earn around $20.1 million (-41%) over the weekend for a $353.5 million 24-day total.

As for overseas figures, it’s a question of whether it passes $1 billion worldwide tomorrow or has to wait a few days to hit the milestone. Captain Marvel had $607 million overseas as of Wednesday, so it’s going to be a nailbiter. Still, with at least $950 million worldwide thus far, it should pass Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle today. If it keeps up the momentum, it has a shot of not just passing $1 billion but over/under $1.1 billion-plus likes of The Dark Knight Rises, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Aquaman, Captain America: Civil War and Iron Man 3. Yes, both of the current biggies face brutal demographic competition next weekend, in the form of Pet Semetary and Shazam.

It's cable going to all those showings at empty theaters driving it up.

Imagine your life sucking so bad that in order to “battle the SJW agenda” you get on a sports forum and make shite up about a comic book movie.

This can't be true. When I started the thread yesterday that it would pass a billion, League Champs said "No it wont".

Also, this movie has no legs.

Capt Marvel is showing some strong late legs. It'll make about 9 million this weekend, which is what it made last weekend. It should cross 400 million early next week, and finish at 420+
