I don’t get it. What’s the bait? I don’t follow the comic movies all that much. Occasionally see one in the theaters, but mainly at home. Is this one supposed to be really bad or something?

There's a small, but extremely dedicated faction on this board that really wishes it was.

Think Thor 1, Ant-Man, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
I enjoyed it

500 million worldwide for the weekend

quick audit of local theaters shows 1/4 full. Everyone that wanted to see the movie already has. The parabolic decline has begun.

And mine is 95% sold out, nothing but a few on the front row available

Remember the time you told everyone that your local theaters were empty last weekend...then it opened at $153 million...
at you.

It pulled nearly $15 million on Tuesday.
Up over 33% from Monday.

Saw the film last night. It’s ok. Would rank it in the bottom half of marvel films.

Anecdotal evidence, your game is strong.

Nothing anecdotal about it. These are official Fandango numbers

You realize that 4310 screens are playing it nonstop all day? And that 1/4 of that for a weekday preordered equates to over $10 million dollars by the end of said day? And that that number is very strong for the first week with school open most places? Do you?

I mean, he has to be right?
If he was really this stupid he wouldn't have been able to figure out how to make an account on this site.

$61.7 million on 3/9 to $8.5 million yesterday. - that's almost a 90% decline in less than a week. This movie has no legs.

You mean more people when to the movies on a Saturday than they did on a Wednesday?? I'm fricking shocked.
